Peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings even though shrouded in mist most of the time, excellent shower facilities.

Mosquitoes!!! Some pitches quite waterlogged. Breakfast van closed earlier than advertised hours.

Toilets need updating. Very dark, gloomy entrance to toilet block. Old fashioned.
Yes sinks were in cubicles, but when these were all in use in the morning/10pm at night there was nowhere to wash hands!! Only one small hand dryer, dumped in middle of toilets. Couldn’t see in the mirror near hair dryer as it was too high up. Toilets were dirty, at all times of the day.
Extremely expensive! £63 a night. Definitely not worth it for that, we’ve stayed on better sites for less this week, within a 20 mile radius.

Beautiful surroundings & pleasant friendly staff. Dog friendly site. Great food from the cafe/food van.

Mens toilets & showers were dirty & facilities quite dated. Not what you expect for the amount you pay to stay here. Very expensive. The site is large & our pitch was right next to a children's football area which having no children was not great for us.

Site- great fun in the river lovely spot the chill with a bbq after long days hike, very well kept site clean and well presented

Fire pit hire, reasonable price, good size logs and decent size pit.

The volume of toilet and shower block facilities we went on a very busy period and despite that the que was never too long however , after walking to the facilities sometime in amore urgent need to be presented by a que or a longer walk was not the best experience an extra Shepherds hut would have made the difference I think.

The pitch we had was great spot but just on the steeper side so often woke up having to climb back up the bed. It seems we where amongst the unlucky few most seems very level in comparison.

The site was clean and well kept with plenty of space, the children loved the stream that runs along the back which was great with the hot weather, also watching and listening for the steam train that runs along side the site. Plenty of toilet and shower facilities as well. The site has everything you need for a great family get away.

Staff were helpful friendly and seemed to work hard at keeping the site in tip top condition

Location and scenery. Very friendly staff. Facilities excellent.

Our pitch was a little narrow for turning onto, meaning we had to partly run on the grass part causing ruts. This is only a minor gripe caused by very wet weather when we were there.

The beautiful river at the back of the site my girls had the best time paddling in and made so many friends playing.. Safe site, beautiful scenery everywhere of the mountains, hearing the steam train whistle past. Facilities where clean and all facilities where usable at all times.. Handy with 2 children who can't wait for cleaning.. Option of some on site take away food catering on occasion was good..

A little expensive as a tent 🎪 pitch but everything was immaculate so it made it worth it..
