Lovely campsite with great views all around. Facilities were nice and clean. Showers were great. The owner and camp manager were both very friendly. There was lots of space and pitches were nice and level.

The views were absolutely amazing, you could hear the water flowing whilst relaxing so it really was peaceful.

The shower and toilet facilities really let the beautiful campsite down. Yes there’s working toilets and showers but they’re very dated and it could have been cleaner. There was no service for a couple of miles around the campsite, we weren’t too fussed but it was annoying when trying to find where you want to go explore.

Only one shower each for men and women and three toilets that's is all you get for the facility the reception is a house as you drive in but you need to have good eyesight to see the reception sign as is so small it is just stuck on the window easy to miss as we did we were quickly confronted by a male in a purple miniskirt and purple high heels requesting we book in as we had drove past the reception we found this person rather passive aggressive and contemplated leaving right then in hindsight we should have the only good thing about this site was the location

Beautiful area, surrounded by hills and mountains.
All the facilities needed, showers, toilets and cleaning areas.
Our pitch was by the river shaded under some trees.
Very enjoyable experience, would definitely come back.

Ground is quite hard for pitching tent, I would recommend studier pegs and a mallet!

Beautiful location - the best we’ve been so far. Plenty routes for walks, especially along the river and the stream. It’s a working farm and the owners were very friendly. Good facilities, all very clean. Lots of space in between tents.

Bird Rock is a little gem. Its rural, peaceful and has plenty of walks. Also 15 mins drive to the beach. It is a no frills place which adds to its charm. No tv signal or WiFi which means you can escape day to day life. There are no silly restrictions, you can have BBQ, raised fires, awnings. The rules are relaxed and everyone was respectful, would certainly visit again.
