Amazing couple that run the place. Nothing too much trouble. Clean loos and showers. Fab playground and huge hill to roll down.

Paid for WiFi but still couldn’t get any signal - not the worst thing we just played board games

Karren & husband looked after us and were very welcoming. Location was great for visiting portmerion, harlech, beach, porthmadoc etc. And sunsets were great. Views great. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks, and no dog noise or mess. Very clean showers etc.

First stay at Barcdy and we would love to come back again. Check in was quick and simple, a list of campsite rules are given to you upon arrival and if you read them and follow the rules you shouldn't encounter any problems (all of the rules are also on their website for you to view before booking). Toilets and showers are immaculate at all times, laundry room has washers/dryers you can use for a fee, a hairdryer which is free to use and 3 sinks to wash up (washing up liquid provided but will need your own sponge etc, I take all my own washing stuff anyway just incase).
There is also a shelf in the laundry room which has a selection of both adult and children's books you can borrow, and a selection of leaflets for local attractions. Campsite itself (bottom field) was lovely. We went during an off peak time so had plenty of space to pitch our tent and gazebo which came in handy when we decided to purchase a new, bigger tent midway through our stay. Water taps are close to the pitches too which saves a trek. Other campers were respectful of the rules and we had no problems at all with noise or sleeping. The road can get a little louder around 7am so that is something to bare in mind if you are easily woken, it didnt bother us though. Bins are clean and labelled for easy use

Everything very clean facilities good showers and good sized flat pitches, little football goal and also a play area witch is set back from the main campfield but seeable from all pitches. Located in a great area to explore all of the surrounding areas. Thank you for our stay

More of a grumble for me as a light sleeper but there is road noise but you are next to the main road either to harlech one way and porthmadog to other

Beautiful site, perfect location for visiting porthmadog, harlech and portmerion. We were able to get the bus very easily, within a 5 minute walk. Lovely pub within a 15 minute walk.
Showers and toilet block were very clean. Launderette available and washing up facilities as well as a hairdryer.
Owner is very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Location was very misleading. Site was in the middle of nowhere
Host was not very forthcoming with information and just said the bus timetable was in the laundry room. Trying to work out a Welsh bus timetable wasn’t the easiest. Hung about reception to ask but nobody appeared 🤷‍♀️
We had booked for 3 nights but moved on after 1st night. Also you have to pay for the wifi

Friendly welcome, good facilities including clean shower and toilet block.

Website oversold the site somewhat. Our pitch had no view, a shame because it could have if a hedge had not blocked it. Noisy road.
