Hendre Farmhouse Orchard Campsite

Gostou: It was our first time doing this and had driven from London in our rented campervan with our 2 year old for the weekend. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the facilities were great - we had everything we needed.

Não gostou: We left the site on one day to attend a wedding nearby and were disappointed we couldn't stay later as we had to return to the campsite by 8pm. Unsure if we misunderstood this or if this is the rule for all touring vehicles, despite having already checked in.

I did say over the phone reception closes at 8pm but I followed with saying that we don't close the gates so you're free to come and go as you please- we just won't be there if you need anything.' I'm so sorry if I didn't make it clear enough and you cut your night short for that reason. I feel awful!

Gostou: Absolutely fantastic campsite. Beautiful location, friendly staff, wonderful facilities. The showers were clean and decent showers which makes a change from most campsites. Would definitely stay there again.

Gostou: Small friendly site with good facilities. I also liked the duck pond.

Gostou: Outstanding site with beautiful surroundings. Plenty of local wildlife on site from Swallows, Squirrels, Badgers & Ducks with a central pond holding many moorhens. Facilities were good with decent shower & toilets. Electric, Picnic bench and firepit really enhances the stay. Friendly service

Gostou: Overall the site is amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was safe and secure and everyone was friendly from the moment we arrived. Would 100% stay again. Was a nice area with with everything you could possibly needed. Lovely little Pound in the middle. The lady we who greeted us on our stay was very helpful and approachable.

Não gostou: Lovely little Pound in the middle which would be nice if some trees were cut back to see the pound and the nature. Parking wasn’t ideal specially in the rain. We had to park on the grass by the gates which was a bit of an issue when it come to leave and it was bit of a pain trying to drive if wet mud/grass

Gostou: The wash room and toilets are kept very clean. There's a fridge/freezer and microwave there for the campsite to use again very clean. The site has a small park there aswell definitely going back.

Não gostou: I think £15 a night electric is abit steep but for what the campsite offers facility wise it kind of makes up for it. There's also no WiFi on site but your camping you don't need your phone.
