Norfolk Coast B&B, Cottages and Camping

We're glad you found several positives about our site - our location of a 2-minutes walk from the beach is a key factor. The site is bordered by two sea banks of approximately 10 foot high which act as a windbreak and also screen the site from the road. We're sorry you found several negatives including the buildings which will be developed in our low season from October onwards. These buildings are not part of the campsite and so do not impact on it. sadly the equivalent of Ground Force are not currently available - which wish they were as that would be fantastic. The road is not busy as it only leads to the small car parks next to the beach and there are double yellow lines along the road which deter parking.
We're sorry if you found our warden direct in his response and absolutely refute your assertion that covid safety is not our priority. We do, however, hope that you enjoyed some time on the Norfolk coast as it is a beautiful place.

Thanks Nick for your review, we are indeed a back to basics campsite but we are a few improvements over the next few months - so watch this space!

Many thank for your Review , every review allows us to look at the details and question how we operate of course the time you visited was a time of huge demand July August and the start of September was very busy and we were at full capacity throughout as such demand pushed the price up, of course, mid-September the price came tumbling right back down to normal levels.

1: we are renovating more buildings these buildings are no in the campsite but are an adjoining plot.
2: wash up area we have removed due to covid 19 , in favour of ensuring our guests only washup at their Pitch
3: Scruffy possibly, however, we have no intention of making the venue a manicured venue however their are areas we are working on and started in September as season started to slow down.
4: big pieces of wood in the field were or trials to try different methods manipulating customer flows and parking bays the research resulted in action we are now implementing.

thank you fr your review and yes I agree with you the cost for camping in 2020 post covid 19 lockdowns went sky high availability was in short supply as nobody could gt away to Europe without having to isolate at home on their return for 2 weeks i apologise for a shower door failure

the Previous campers campfire was not hot the burned leftovers were removed and it was under your groundsheet! If you book a tent and you bring a larger tent then the one you booked, it would seem logical for your booking to be changed and be chared the larger fee . Surroundings not attractive? we are a campsite i don't expect our guests to come to our campsite and gaze lovingly at the fence between us and the neighboring farmer's field instead I find our guest gaze lovingly at The sunsets over the Sea , The rewilding project for Beaver, wading Birds, The area of Oustanding Natural Beuty just 10 miles down the coast, The Commons scattered along the coastline, The Salt Marshes, the huge Beaches, Dog-friendly Beaches. I am sorry you missed these things. Im Glad, you appreciated my offer of help on a windy weekend.

thank you for your review, yes 2020 season was very busy and plans for more toilets and showers are in progress we did find July and august 2020 demand outstripped facilities and as such prices went up and break all records we do not expect the summer of 2021 to be the same situation. We dont offer many amenities and have no intention of offering more other then toilets and showers we want to encourage people to embrace and view Norfolk and all its beauty.
