The kids loved going down to help collect eggs and walking the dogs in the woodland (which looked good for mountain bikes too).
Niepolubione: Would recommend solid pegs for tents as mashed our basic ones on the pitch we had (might be fine further down the field) not so much a dislike just a recommendation for others
A great stay, would stay again if visiting the Mendips

Our dog is very reactive to anything that moves (children, people, balls etc) and the site was quiete busy (as expected as it’s a beautiful little place). My partner and I were very sceptical of staying amongst the other campers, But the owner without any trouble whatsoever, insisted we stayed in a secluded spot in his own back garden. He was very helpful. And full of information about the towns resources (We tried the pantry cafe and it was fantastic!!) I would highly recommend this campsite and I Definately would go back! 10/10 from us. Thanks a million!!

Not being able to park car next to tent.
Thank you. We like to keep cars in the car park . It's only 50m away and there are wheelbarrows to help move your equipment. It's a small site with small children and animals which don't always mix well with moving cars. Glad you enjoyed it.
We had a great wee time and would recommend this site to anyone

Apologies about the pegs. It's the problem with living on top of the Mendips. Need to put them in almost horizontal. It's pretty sheltered though so unlikely to blow away. Glad you had a lovely time though.
