A lovely site with fantastic views. The facilities were excellent and the owner was very welcoming.

I loved this campsite! I managed to get a very last minute booking (I booked on the day) as I needed somewhere to break up a long journey.

I was the only camper there, which I was delighted with. The campsite is so pretty and well laid out. There were lots of cute, quirky touches like bunting and decorations in the bathroom/ shower area, small touches like a communal fridge and free sun cream in the toilets.

I camped near the cows in the next field, who were great neighbours.

I phoned the owner as I was worried about putting my roof tent beck together the next day, and she was so helpful and friendly.

The owner recommended the pub which was a 15 minute walk from the campsite- great food, service and friendly people. Also- a lovely walk in a beautiful area.

The owner came to help out the next day and gave me more recommendations for the local are.

All in all, a great stay at a lovely site.

Lovely flat pitch. Great breakfast from the food hut. Lovely hot showers.

No hot water in the basins in the toilet block.

We booked the yurt, it was beautiful and clean. The views were amazing, couldn’t fault the place. Looking forward to staying there again.

If you want an all singing and dancing site, look elsewhere, but if you want peace, quiet, amazing views and the warmest welcome, then look no further.

Nothing loved the site.

We booked this as a last minute getaway. Sharon was so helpful an accommodating. The site was large, open and flat with generous sized pitches with an area for the children to play in the centre. The cooking facilities and firepit which accompanied our yurt pitch added to the ease and enjoyment of our stay. The shower was warm and facilities clean. The added bonus of an onsite bar, food van & area for dogs to socialise made it all the more enjoyable.

Friendly and accommodating host. Excellent , flat pitch with a stunning view. Campsite has campfires for use when you purchase reasonably priced logs and kindling from the onsite shop/bar. Hot water in showers and washing up area.
Fab location with lovely walks and attractions around. Cannot fault and would definitely stay again!

Nice friendly site in a good location - close to attractions and walks but away from the busier central Peaks area. Small toilet and shower block was always clean, nice to have the bar, coffee shop and breakfast available at the weekend.
