Nice and quiet campsite located just outside Martock village. Small campsite, very quiet due to being the Christmas period. Site manager friendly and helpful on arrival to pitch.

We booked a fully serviced pitch (geo-blocked). Grass very muddy and pitch not private - close to neighbours (too close). Due to weather (freezing temperatures overnight), water was switched off overnight and could not access any water until 10:30am which isn’t ideal when you have a fully serviced pitch.
Toilets not cleaned on a regular basis, lack of toilet paper and dirty floors.
Lots of pot holes on the camp site and lack of light at night. Take bright torch.
No WIFI - lack of signal in places

Lovely clean well kept site. Staff were extremely accommodating and found me the perfect little spot to enjoy the peace and quiet. Out of season - not busy. Perfect for what I needed. Thank you

The awkward position I was put in as Pitch up allowed me to book a pitch that should have been closed!

Ease of check-in despite being borderline late. Good sized pitch with hedge on one side for privacy.

I'm 6'5" and the showers barely came up to my bellow button! I'm obviously being a tad melodramatic but I've never had to deal with showers that were fixed so low. They were however hot and free so I can't complain too much.

Very nice quiet site with a great cafe connected to it . Staff really friendly. Great place to overnight on the way to Cornwall just off the 303

Level pitch, small site so all pitches are not too far from the facilities, enclosed dog area (although very small).
Would try another site in the area if we went back, but wouldn't rule out going back there again.

No men's shower, on website bistro said it was open Friday evenings, but that is no longer the case, toilets a bit dated.

Really lovely campsite. We liked our stay at the hut very much, it feels a lot bigger on the inside when you step in. The beds were already made up, it was nice and clean and you have a couple of tables to drop your things off and chairs to relax on. It is located in a secluded part of the camp so it is always quiet and peaceful. It also comes with an outdoor table which which was great for having breakfast outside on a sunny day. There is also a lovely cafe right next to the reception serving really hearty breakfasts.

The toilets could do with updating

Staff were polite and helpful. We had an issue was there were no electric hook ups left and staff swiftly resolved the issue. The site was very quiet and peaceful!

Showers were a bit dated

Friendly welcome. Flat pitch. Everything nice and clean. Good facilities well maintained.
