We really enjoyed our stay at Skegness Fields. The site was well kept and in a great location, making it easy to get into Skegness while still feeling peaceful. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the staff we met at reception were friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression.

There wasn’t really anything major we disliked – perhaps just that our stay was only for two nights, as we would have happily stayed longer!

The WiFi didnt work, but not a major concern for this visit.

Nice site, good shower blocks, great location with an easy 25/30 minute walk into Skegness.

Reception not open untill 9am, difficult to leave earlier if you want, had to wait till open to get the deposit back for barrier key

Size of the pitch, ease of check-in. Toilet/washing facilities were quite new and kept in reasonable condition and there was always toilet roll!

Road noise was constant but you get used to it as background noise.

I liked very much that is a quiet site , I liked the grass , you have everything you need but I strongly believe they could improve by building a pool , and they have enough space for making more playing areas for kids

Good playpark. Good toilets, showers (well laid out cubicle and no extra charge) and pot washing area. Good price. Great proximity to Skegness and a local pub was walkable. Level pitches.

Camping for tents felt a bit like an afterthought - the area wasn’t well laid out and it the furthest away you could be from the play park and reception. Road nearby was busy and quite noisy, but more noticeable in day time.

This site is great for kids, we had 2 kids under 10 in our group. The site is tidy and there's plenty of space for them to run around and ride bikes etc.

As we went in high season on a friday- Sunday (August 2025) the site was very busy. I understand site owners wanting to fill spaces for revenue but for me the camp spots were far too close to each other, do not camp here if you like privacy and do not camp here in high season if you like to sleep after 6.30am because other kids are shouting, beeping car horns and running around close to other families tents.

I have to mention one other thing because to me its a big safety and cleanliness issue. There were lots of children running around sitting and playing on the grass. Then I also see dogs having a number 2 nearby in the middle of the field, now whilst I did see the owner pick the mess up immediately this still does not remove it completely and a child could be sitting on it minutes later not knowing there was mess there. In my opinion dogs should not be allowed on site OR there should be dog free zones for campers that don't want dogs roaming around off the lead sniffing around there space as we witnessed.

The toilet facilities smelt of urine as soon you opened the door and the whole time were we there, it was not clear if they cleaned in the 2 days we were there.
