Site opposite Widemouth Bay (very handy for beach 🏖️) Pitched up level, with sea views, site clean & tidy. Outside & indoor hot showers. Facilities to wash and glamourise outside, as well as freezer, washing up area and wash wet suit area. Recycling on site, low noise levels & low light levels. Food van on-site opened every morning for breakfast and Friday & Saturday evening.
Beach House across road from site does Sunday “Roast on the Coast” - this was very tasty 😋 Also Widemouth cafe on beach which did good food and excellent strawberry milkshake. Family pub next door to site did good food too and if you wanted to dine in shop across road from site had a good selection of meat, fish and groceries - good fresh bread & pastries 🥮
Allowed to pitch anywhere leaving 5 metres between vehicles/tents trying to keep in rows.
Close to coastal path into Bude and cycle path by Whalesborough trail & canal into Bude.Niepolubione: Not a dislike more of a suggestion:-
It might help to have ropes in lines to help keep vehicles and pitches in line?
