Second visit to this site and as a single woman on my own with my dog the site makes you feel safe. Staff are great and the people you meet are lovely. Has everything you need facilities are clean and they have the addition of the much needed Vics coffee bacon butty burger van, will definitely be back again but next time for much longer :0) xx

Owner was awesome, beautiful views over the sea, facilities, toilets /outdoor showers fab, also handy there being hot food available weekends morn and night. Brilliant for my young girls who could run around and enjoy the field.

Nothing to dislike.

Amazing views and lovely host, very chilled out and relaxed vibe. Loads of space and nice sea breeze to keep you cool at night. Host gave us plenty of suggestions for drinks and food. We loved the idea of the outdoor showers and sinks!

Nothing really, site was on a slight hill so levelling blocks would be best in a van.

Right on the coast path, ideal for walking and close to the beautiful bays of Treyarnon and Portcothan.

Clean toilets and wash up room.

Even with a discount not was still expensive for me as a solo traveller.

Had an amazing time camp site was very nice and had everything we needed staff were brilliant

Relaxed. Although it is a” pop up “ site, it is better run and equipped than many permanent sites.

Lovely manager welcomed us and gave us information about site & area. Site opposite Widemouth Bay (very handy for beach 🏖️) Pitched up level, with sea views, site clean & tidy. Outside & indoor hot showers. Facilities to wash and glamourise outside, as well as freezer, washing up area and wash wet suit area. Recycling on site, low noise levels & low light levels. Food van on-site opened every morning for breakfast and Friday & Saturday evening.
Beach House across road from site does Sunday “Roast on the Coast” - this was very tasty 😋 Also Widemouth cafe on beach which did good food and excellent strawberry milkshake. Family pub next door to site did good food too and if you wanted to dine in shop across road from site had a good selection of meat, fish and groceries - good fresh bread & pastries 🥮
Allowed to pitch anywhere leaving 5 metres between vehicles/tents trying to keep in rows.
Close to coastal path into Bude and cycle path by Whalesborough trail & canal into Bude.

Not a dislike more of a suggestion:-
It might help to have ropes in lines to help keep vehicles and pitches in line?
