We stayed from 1st August for a week, we have had an amazing time. Beautiful views from the site. Not far from the beach. We booked 3 electric pitches on separate bookings, so emailed to see if we could get them all together and Sue sorted it for us. The toilets and showers were spotless, showers were powerful and hot. The cleaner does an excellent job, she is very friendly too. The wash area and outside showers were immaculate aswell. Before coming I read some reviews about being put to bed by owners at 10pm due to the no noise between 10pm-7am so was a bit sceptical anout it but that wasn't the case. They did come round the site at night but as long as it was quiet, nothing was said. I liked that it was quiet after 10pm, we could sit, relax and enjoy the sounds of the sea. Love that its a dog friendly site too! Plenty of drinking water taps around the site. We are definitely booking again for next year. It is an absolutely beautiful site. As a family of 10 with kids and a dog, we have all thoroughly enjoyed our time at this site and will be booking again for next year 😊

Nothing to dislike. Was a bit wary about owners after reading reviews but we didn't have any problems. They were pleasant, said if we needed anything to just speak to them and had a lovely chat with the wife on last day. They keep the site very clean so no complaints from the 10 of us

Nice and clean site, very relaxed atmosphere. Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. Wardens are super friendly and really helpful. Beautiful scenery too, 2nd year going here and it does not disappoint.

Nice laid out pitches, owners kept two pitches together for our party. Toilet and shower blocks were really clean and like new. Great bonus of the outside showers for coming off the beach.
Handy food van open at various times of the day.
Amazing location directly opposite widemouth bay beach and great views from the campsite.

This place ticks all the boxes. Sensational views, beautiful well kept site, with super clean showers, kitchen area and lockers for phone charging, plus fridge freezers, all free to use. The location is amazing, the pub next door does great food, the shop opposite has fresh sea food and other Cornish treats.

My stay was 10/10 (visited with non electric plot for VW camper)

Wonderful position, close to the beach, the sound of the sea. Good facilities on site.

Some rowdy campers , playing music late at night. I don't think everyone camping there where family groups. Fires lit by some campers and smoke filling up the our van and awning as no thought given to windy conditions by persons lighting fires. Sometimes some campers, camping very close too not respectful of others surroundings. Could plots be marked out to prevent this happening

Close to beach, pub next to the site wuth great sea views, didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. Great access to south west coastal path to walk into Bude, which is lovely. The woodland path to canal into Bude was also very good. Huge dog walking field but no poop bins so carried to bottom of site snd the main waste bins, not a problem, but for some it was as saw bags or uncollected waste in grass, shame. Made some lovely friends and had a great time. Showers and toilets were regularly cleaned by a lovely jolly lady and kept v well especially considering the amount of people there.

The v dusty path thru the electric pitches threw dust up every time someone drove by. This was q regular as the site warden patrolled around in his buggy many times. You could see him looking for issues and stopped along the way to ‘pick’ on someone. He told my husband we shouldn’t be using a splitter on electric box to power the cool box in our tent aswell as the campervan, however he had actually supplied same splitter to two motorhomes who were on one pitch and using the same electric box! Dual standards I believe. He made us feel so uncomfortable throughout our stay as he would look into our set up whilst driving past in his buggy. We were always expecting him to say something else!!! Not friendly at all.
