Very clean bathrooms, area to charge your phones etc, very nice and quiet, peaceful and just so secluded. There were 5 or 6 showers, some had a toilet in it, very clean. There were also separate toilets for men and women. Tumble dryers and washing machines available, a tap to wash clothes, clean water and several washing up areas. The walk from our pitch was about 1 minute walk - so very nice and close! It felt like we had the forest to ourselves, it was absolutely wonderful.

Nothing to dislike, but doesn't allow campfires, however this is not a complaint at all.

We could not fault this lovely site. Went for a weekend break while visiting the Royal Cornwall show. The site beautifully maintained, there was a small play area for the children and a few farm animals for them to visit.
The shower facilities were brilliant some of the best we have ever used and we have been to many campsites. We did not use the shop but the owner was very welcoming on our arrival.

Quiet, peaceful site with sunny and restful views from the caravan. Access to Camel trail nearby. North and south Cornwall coasts only 30 minutes away by car. Andrew and Nicola on site were welcoming and helpful both on arrival and departure.

Make sure you use the advertised route in to the site if you have a caravan. Otherwise it is very narrow roads with very limited passing places...

Everything we just can not fault Ruthern Valley, its perfect.

An excellent site tucked away in a beautiful valley. It’s like a minI paradise!
All you could hear was the swaying of the trees and the chirping of the birds. What more do you want to wake up too!
The toilet/shower block was spotlessly clean and the little shop seemed to stock everything you could possibly neeed!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The pitches are spacious and we particularly liked the shower rooms including a toilet. Great site and amazing birdsong !!

all I can say is that if you are looking for peace and tranquility, This campsite is a hidden gem in its own little valley surounded by the woodland.
so quiet, no road noise just the birds singing in the trees, absolute bliss.
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here, if you love wildlife the birds and squirells will entertain you.
WiFi at pitch also excellent if thats important to you.
the hosts are great, the new toliet and shower facilities are spotlessly clean and heated too..!!
they also run a little shop with basic supplies.
Bodmin is only a few miles away so supermarket and fuel is within easy reach.
overall this is a great central location to stay which is great for exploring Cornwall.
will deffinitely be returning.
Don't forget to visit the Chickens and little pigs during your stay.
a great price too.

there really was nothing to dislike about this place if you like peaceful suroundings surounded by nature.

A well loved and maintained site.
Showers, toilets, refuse areas all clean. Recycling. Secluded pitch. Well stocked small shop. Woodland trails. Close to Camel Trail for walking or cycling to Padstow or Bodmin.
