Thank you Jay for your lovely review and so glad you enjoyed your stay. We are lucky to have an abundance of attractions and places to visit close by most of which would need a car. That said over the winter we are working on creating an easy footpath down to the village so you can avoid the roads.

Thank you Victoria for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry to hear about the facilities, we take our cleaning schedules seriously so always welcome feedback from guests. I'm unsure why on this occasion they weren't to standard however would like to reassure you they are cleaned and serviced on a regular basis. The 'old' block has still be in operation whilst the new block was being finished so it may be these that you're referring to - they will be going over the winter as were a temporary measure and are tired and dated. The new block will be fully operational ready for next season.

Tłumacz (Zasilane przez Google Translate)Polubione: The campsite was well laid out, with plenty of open field in the middle for kids to play on. There was plenty of toilets and showers, and although a bit dated they were clean which is all that is important really when camping!
We met the owners a couple of times who were great in giving us advice of places to visit and where to go eat. They were also nice enough to let us into the private area to see the baby chicks that were born overnight while we stayed there.
Likewise the location was spot on for going out places with the kids. Chester is obviously just around the corner, but theres also places like the Ice Cream Farm, Croccy Trails etc. Even the local pubs where we went out to eat were very accommodating with the children

There are so many things to do close by and glad you got to explore and sample some of the great things Cheshire has to offer. Rest assured, even if busy we will always make sure guests still have plenty of space so wont notice it being any busier - theres nothing worse than being crowded, we like to keep it manageable :-)

Thank you for your review. Seeing the children all make friends and play together is really important to us and makes it so much nicer for the parents to be able to relax and unwind. We designed the camp fields to encourage play in the open space whilst being safe and secure, and hopefully creating a friendly relaxed atmosphere so glad you enjoyed it :-)
