Lovely quiet site with beautiful views. Close proximity to the Tissington trail for walking and cycling and also cafe. Close to Buxton and Bakewell and lots of great hikes. Friendly owner with helpful recommendations for local walks we otherwise wouldn't have known about. Close to road links but no road noise which was a bonus. No amenities other than water and bins. Not a problem for us as we like this kind of site. Would definitely return.

Simple field at the top of a quiet track, spacious pitches. Amazing views and easy access to the tissington trail. Very friendly owner. Only slight negative is that the turn into the track is quite hard to find, we stopped at the farm for directions

The views were amazing. The easy access to the Tissington trail (through a gate in the next field). Friendly owner. Water point, chemical disposal and rubbish bins all good and checked daily.

The ground is very uneven in lots of places, due to being exposed to the elements, I imagine. Pick your pitch carefully and you'll be nice and level. If it has rained heavily before your arrival be warned that it could be rather boggy in places. Can't have the stunning views without being at the mercy of the weather, go prepared.

The views were amazing and the laid back approach to a campsite was so refreshing. It’s lovely not to have to set an alarm when away so you can be off site on time.
Proximity to the trails is an added bonus to the sites location.
We will definitely be back and stop for longer.

No footpaths from the campsite.
You have to drive to the farm and search for someone to pay

Brilliant views. Very friendly and knowledgable owner- cut the grass for us on arrival. Good location for walks and cycle rides. Easy to find and easy booking through Pitch up.

Beautiful scenery. Very quiet and peaceful. Right on the Tissington trail so numerous walks on your door step. No WiFi but that's not a bad thing so still giving it 5 stars!
