Bit remot for us

Very comfortable cabin, warm, clean, well equipped and cosy. Quiet and peaceful location with great night skies. The views are better from Cabin 3 as less obscured by trees, but still very nice to wake up to. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Not 5 stars as the great cabin is let down by very poor showers in the cold communal block, as the trickle of tepid-to-cold water sprays in all directions. I understand the need to minimise water usage, but would have preferred to see low-flush loos rather than having taps and showers so restricted.

Owners were never seen. Everything done online. Bit sad really. Dog was pleasant though when he came to say hello at the gate.

'Kitchen'? A kettle only, and a washing up sink with a most dreadful flexy hose shower type thing to fill your bowl up which took an eternity to fill said bowl, and resulting in getting rather wet due to the ferocity and 'blowback' of the water pressure.

Toilet block ok, clean enough, but no shaver sockets, and those common push down taps that only stay on for a couple of seconds, notgiving you enough time to rinse both hands at once. No hand dryer, just a paper towel dispenser which usually ended up dispensing several at a time.

Great pitch with the little touches of firewood etc. Bathroom and kitchen really clean and great there was a kettle. Really friendly checking all ok recommending walk for the day. Would definitely stay again

Lovely remote location, really quiet. Really liked all the stars on a clear night with no light pollution. Facilities spotless and Rob the owner really welcoming.
