Clean site with Warden

There appears to be a permanent home on site with very noisy children - late at night and early morning - not how we want to be woken up.
The warden was helpful, however our neighbours had visitors and we returned to our pitch to find that they had parked their van across the front of our pitch - blocking our view of the woods. I didn't want to cause a fuss as they had 2 large dogs - we thought the Warden (who was opposite) should have had a word.
The toilets and showers were poor and I resent paying for a shower given the high pitch fee.
We had a meal at the pub next door and were overcharged by 25% which we had to query.
We won't be coming back.

Only one toilet and one shower for the men’s and two for the ladies, for a site with around 30 pitches I think there should be more, also £1 for the use of shower, also hot water in washing up area would also have been useful

Beautiful tranquil setting overlooking the small lake and Wayne the warden was fab. Very pleasant and informative. We both had a cracking steak at The Old Crown literally next door. Will defo be back. Thank you 👍🏻

Lovely friendly welcome from Wayne made us feel instantly relaxed. He was a great host and the site is obviously well cared for. Nice spacious pitches and a good atmosphere. We will return.

Nice clean site, well kept, convenient as it is next door to a reasonable pub.

One male shower is not enough!

Further not even room enough to swings a mouse, let alone a cat. Bit cheeky charging a minimum of £1 for a shower considering the site fee.

Getting out of the car to open the gates to go in and out. Needs a keypad either side of the gate.

We were greeted at the gate by The site warden, Wayne who was extremely helpful and also very friendly. He showed us to our pitch (the one I'd requested when booking) and left us to set up. He returned a little while later and advised on all we needed to know and he stayed for a chat. Very friendly as was his wife.
The facilities are clean and cleaned regularly throughout the day and evening. As said in other reviews there are plans to increase the amount off toilets and showers from what's available at the moment. The site will benefit from this greatly. I can't comment on the actual showers as we used our own in the van during our stay. The outlook over the small fishing lake is also very nice. Can't comment on the WiFi as I didn't use it and after a very bad storm the WiFi was effected by the lightning and we were informed it had stopped working.. We didn't find the road too noisy or busy just the occasional boy racer. We didn't use the pub next door on this occasion so can't comment but it was fine when we visited it last year. Thank you for a lovely weekend, We will return again soon.

Good pitches, friendly warden, clean washrooms.

No hot water for washing up. Minimal space for playing ball games

We had a very large pitch, it felt very private on the end (pitch 23). Nice view of the lake.

The playground was good for young children.

The warden was very friendly and was selling ice lollies which was a bonus!

Toilets and showers were clean.

It was very quiet at night, no issues with noise (except for the thunderstorm!).

We had a brilliant time and will definitely go back.

Convenience. Allowed to stay one night. Located well for journey home.

Right on pub car park. Kids playing football around vehicles until 1030pm. Facilities not great. One shower, which was dirty and drain blocked. Two toilets, one with seat hanging off.
