Large well marked pitches with very generous space between pitches. Friendly and helpful hosts running the site. Great clean toilets and showers. They had a freezer too which was handy.

That we couldn’t get more of a discount for the Hatton county world or just access to the play area outside.

Spacious and well kept campsite, Facilities are small, 1 sink to wash up, few showers and toilets however always kept really clean! No on site camp shop so you need to be quite prepared. Really enjoyed our stay and used the discount code at the Hatton Arms pub which was a nice treat.

What a wonderful well kept site! Met on site by the warden who gave us all the information we would need for our stay, advised the best pitch and why and even offered to help set up. Clean showers ran off a generator at specific hours but the warden is happy to accommodate any other time.

No hot water at the washing up station, had to take a full hot kettle to do the dishes

Very quiet. Pitches good size. Plenty of space.

Been working with a temporary camping licence but now been granted permanent licence. Shower times are a bit crazy but to be fair they did turn them on at other times if asked. Hopefully a more mains powered permanent toilet/shower block in the future.

Location and overall cleanliness of the place.

Number of toilets, showers and washing up areas was shockingly low for the number of pitch’s and families that were staying. Of the 4 toilets, 2 were port-a-loos which meant they couldn’t be used to wash or clean teeth etc. This meant there was always a queue.

When we booked we saw we had the last of 69 pitches. When we arrived the site was full and the owner was trying to accommodate six families who had booked on pitchup who were not on his list: something not right there. However he did so as there is plenty of space on this site, it is a huge field.
Some of the lanes to get there are single track with no passing place for half a mile. The roads were pretty empty when we went through but I can imagine this being a bit hairy if you try negotiating them with a caravan or motorhome at busy times.

Pitches. Great facilties. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff.

The person next to us had a generator on Saturday night from eight o'clock till he was asked to switch it off about 9.30. Also Sunday morning when we were getting ready to leave. It was very noisy.

No other dislikes

Very quiet, 3 pitches taken on a site of 60+, facilities were clean and great location. Pick any pitch on arrival. Gate shuts at 8 but if on foot, there is a small gate to the rear of the site. Dinner at Hatton Arms was excellent!

How laid back the whole stay was

Showers were only available 8am till 10am and 6pm and 10pm- due to the generator being turned on. It said you could request them to be available at other times but this meant faff of contacting someone.
