Lovely location and has the potential to be a fantastic site with a beautiful river running along one side of the site

If you are looking for a quiet site with good facilities this is definitely not the site for you - the toilet and shower blocks are very basic and not the cleanest as is the washing up area. The quad that the kids ride around the site on is very annoying and at times the site comes across as party central but for a last minute booking on a bank holiday weekend beggars cannot be choosers - if you are new to camping this is definitely not the site for you as it’s likely to put you off camping but if your seasoned like we are then you just crack on and make the best of it.

Safe for the children to play. Friendly staff. Quiet place with lovely scenery.

Location of site, the views and surroundings were beautiful.
Location of our pitch, right on the river. Electric hook up right infront of the tent.
Toilet, shower & cleaning Facilities on site. Toilet cubicle lights were kept on at night which was a massive help.
Family run and everyone there was so friendly and helpful, they even sold fire wood and would come round to your tent asking if you needed any for your fire pit.
The views were stunning 😍
The sheep - especially the cheeky escape artists. We loved watching them on the field in front of us - the dog did too.
The river
The space between tents was great, you didn't feel one bit cramped.
The sunsets were beautiful.

Gorgeous river views and surroundings. Lovely young lads who worked there went and filled our waterbottles up and was very helpful to us being camping newbies. Would definitely recommend, lovely place. Thank you

Nice location, shops, bars and restaurants only 5 minutes away.
Staff are welcoming and polite.
