We were really impressed with the site - the toilets and showers are easily the best I've ever seen at a campsite and when the whole block is finished, it will look stunning.
It is a work in progress and you need to be understanding of this as there is some building noise during the day.
We used Gopsall as a base to visit the Commonwealth Games, Drayton Manor and The National Space Centre. We also considered Cadbury World and Twycross Zoo too but didn't have enough time!
Communication was good. We were sent a very clear email prior to our stay with a list of site rules and what to expect. We were really pleased with how quiet the site was. It wasn't busy during our stay but the noise level was still extremely low.
We enjoyed walking along the lanes in the evening and spotting hares in the fields.
Everyone around the site was helpful and chatty and my youngest enjoyed talking about where she'd been and what she'd done each morning!

Toilet and shower block are beautiful and are excellently maintained! Received an email with our pitch number and all other details we needed for our stay - including that it’s a working farm and tractors are about, which they are so expect some tractor noise!
There was a pop up pub on the Saturday evening which was lovely!
I camped as a lone parent with my son for the weekend and everyone on site was very friendly and is clearly a site that welcomes family’s with children of all ages and we felt very welcomed and safe.
We spent the day at the site on Saturday and it was lovely! So peaceful and quiet - tractor noise and farm machines just add to the fact you’re out of the city - as you are in the middle of the fields. Just what we were looking for.
The evenings were lively with children playing and chat amongst neighbouring campers!
Overall a very positive solo camping trip with my son!
Will be back again!Niepolubione: Not that I disliked anything, however I felt the pitches were a little close together, but this may have been due to us campers not knowing where to exactly pitch the tent in accordance to the pitch number as I pitched to the left of my number. However everyone was lovely so it was fine :) just note that the field is not completely flat and has a slight gradient to it! So make sure you pitch and sleep the right way!

Niepolubione: Tent pitches were too close together, we were all very cramped in which at the height of the season felt very uncomfortable with lots of noise and no sense of privacy. This campsite is very child friendly which we never mind but without any sense of your own space, we didn't enjoy our time as much.
I had also paid for two nights with electric which was not available to us as our pitch was very far away from an electric point (I did call to double check this was the case and was told the points were shared and dotted around), which meant we were unable to use electric for our whole stay.
There is also no 'washing up point' although I understand this is in the making.
Was so clean and peaceful, would definitely come back

Niepolubione: EHU can be far away from pitch (defo need 25m to be on safe side) - watched a family arrive and leave because their ehu cable wasn’t long enough, and another having to pitch in an alternate area so they would have an electric source. Only one water tap for site. New toilet block lovely but additional toilet nearer main field would be welcomed. No kitchen/washing up facilities
Hi Kerry, many thanks for the feedback. We will address your points below:
EHU - most pitches are within 15m of an EHU, we are flexible with the pitches so people can move closer where required. Where there are issues we help customers out with a cable. The customer you refer to did not contact us so you may be making incorrect assumptions here.
Water - There are two water taps on site, which we find adequate for a relatively small site. However, we are installing an additional water point in the coming weeks.
Washing up facilities - We are building new facilities for washing up as we speak. If you had asked us we could have pointed you to the bell tent building where there are facilities.

I presume this is what you are referring to as a building site (it's not so much a building site, we are installing a luxury glamping pod and 2 new luxury tipis - check them out!).

Hiya, many thanks for the feedback.
We could have lent you an extension if yours was not long enough, we provide 5 contact numbers so try to make contacting us easy. We lent one to another guest over the same weekend, which was a simple resolution.
It was a particularly busy weekend but we try to make sure every guest has ample space. This said, we do have an immediate plan to make sure there is more space during busy weekends.
Washing up facilities will be available from the middle of this month. We are inviting guests to use washing up facilities located at our bell tent area should they need this facility.
