Level gravel pitch, added picnic table, excellent clean heated toilets and showers, nice bar food vans visit with lots of choice daily so no need to cook

Excellent facilities, huge site with plenty of room and level pitches, adult only, within very easy reach of places to visit. We had a very relaxing few days away and will definitely be back.

Loved my stay here. I was made to feel very welcome by the staff and other campers as I was travelling alone.
The campsite was very well kept. Toilet blocks were absolutely beautiful constant running hot water for the shower heated towel rail (luxury 🥰🥰)
There was a lovely bar to sit in from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock every night and from Monday to Thursday, happy hour from 4 to 6 which was lovely and on the Saturday night of my stay there was a band which was really, really nice. The bar was called an outside bar but had wooden roofs and plastic sheeting for walls. But it also had heaters and a lovely log burner for the cold evenings very cosy. Most nights a different food van would come with various choices. Fish and chips, pizza, Thai etc.

There was also a dog walking area and also a lovely lake.
The campsite shop and some lovely items in it. Stocked with all your essentials.
I've already booked for next year.
Can't wait.

Nice big pitch, lovely welcome. Everyone was so friendly and the food trucks and Monty’s bar are fabulous, made
So many new friends. Showers were clean and warm.

The man at the bar who threatened to throw me and my friend out because my dogs barked at another dog. No one else was bothered about them!

Lovely peaceful site, even with a bar on site. Really friendly people, great facilities. Enjoyed our stay. Love the food van visits which is a great bonus.

Loved Monty’s bar, great way to bring all the guests together. Really enjoyed chatting to fellow campers . The food trucks were great, we had pizza and fish n chips . The dogs loved the surrounding woodlands and we will definitely be back in the spring to see the wildlife, plants and trees spring to life . We wanted to play pétanque but the weather wasn’t great so next time . Didn’t buy anything from the shop but it looked well stocked with essentials and gifts . All the staff were helpful and super friendly.

Nothing really. Being super critical I struggled a bit in the shower cubicles keeping things dry and getting changed as they were smaller than other sites I’ve been to but the water was hot and they were always clean .
