Professionally run site, Robin and his Mum work hard especially on a busy weekend! Flat & large pitches. Nice quiet location, riverside & good views up the valley. Clean toilets and showers. Hot water. Good river walks on doorstep & easy walk into the village with good Co-op & chippy.

Washing up in same room building as where people empty their toilet waste. One time I had to stop washing up the smell was so strong. Its separated by a wall but the roof bit is open.

Lovely site nice and clean facilities. Brilliant for dog. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely forest walk to village.

How modern and clean the shower and toilet blocks were. The area and grounds were very good and well kept.
Free WiFi was a nice added bonus. Close by to major tourists attractions in and around the North pennines.

You can't go in before 2.30pm only cause of the small lane to gain entry to the place
The showers only last for a few seconds again that's to save on the water wastage

Nice, clean big pitch’s, lovely area. Clean toilets and showers.

No lights on the camping field very dark, toilets were quite a long way from where we were pitched. Gates locked between 8.30pm-7am so had to leave the car and walk. No atmosphere, didn’t see many people about at all. Very expensive site compared to other similar ones. No Wi-Fi didn’t work at all for us.

Adult only field-big pitches & being able to have fire pits-huge bonus in autumn! There was a mix up with our booking-Pitch Up’s fault! The lovely staff sorted it out without any drama

The electric went out during our second night!

The facilities were very clean & modern-the staff were helpful & accommodating-the setting is beautiful! Great little shop with sensible opening times.

The electricity going off during the night but I recognise it can’t be helped sometimes!

Not great internet (but to be expected- in a dip in the country side) worked fine nearer toilets but not near river
