Clean and quiet site

If you aren’t fishing yourself then there will be fishermen in front of your hut

The space, the quietness of the site most of the time, the friendliness of all staff. Electric is pay as you go and can be easily topped up. You get back what you don’t spend when you check out. My tent pitch was flat, the ground has good drainage and the pegs went in easily. I like that check in is from 1pm and check out is 12 noon - the early check in really makes you feel like you’ve settled before it’s time to cook dinner. The cafe on site was very popular and there is a bar too which was also busy. The water was lovey and hot in the taps, showers and wash up area. The staff work hard all hours to keep the site clean and tidy.

Not dislikes as such but the new shower block could do with a couple of additions such as a full length mirror or mirrors you can’t get close to for those that might want to do makeup etc. I could only find one small bin by the wash up area and one water tap there too. Maybe some more bins and water points sited around would be good.

Great site with loads of space for the children to run around. Very friendly staff, fantastic lakes for fishing and very reasonably priced.

Absolutely a cracking holiday our 3rd visit and we will be going back brilliant people lovely place great fishing and good food done wonders with the place we love it thank you Lisa, paddy and all the staff see you next time

Nothing to dislike

Another great stay at fendick's fishery,paddy and team run great campsite, everywhere spotless,showers/washing up area plenty of hot water.choice of 5 lakes to fish.caught some cracking fish. Will return again and again.

The site is beautiful and well maintained. The lakes are gorgeous and the fishermen were mostly friendly to the children.
We liked having access to the horse and the football pitch.

There was no hot water for our first 2 days. Cold showers were no fun.
No bins by the sink meant the washing up sink was always full of food scraps which wasn’t pleasant.

Everything was clean, tidy, quiet surrounds, staff most helpful. Great size pitches.
Lakes are clean, well stocked and my son broke his pb twice. Cafe on site served brilliant, reasonably priced food.

Nothing to dislike.

The pitch we had was nicely set apart for the quiet rest we were looking for, and facilities were close by and were well kept, clean and well presented.
Not being fishers of any sort I can not comment on those facilities in any reasonable way, other than to say they looked good, again clean and tidy.

Booked for 3days stayed for six,staff very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much for them grounds are beautiful and the fishing was great the food was lovely all very reasonable prices will definitely be back
