Skipsea Sands Holiday Park

Likte: Fantastic site, staff friendly and so much to do, swimming arcades, the ice cream and choice was amazing and the choice of arcades. All in all a fabulous few days and a great start to our camping adventures xx

Likte ikke: Only down side was it would have been nice to walk onto the beach but because of the corrosion you couldn’t! Not the sites fault at all. Wifi wasn’t amazing on the tent part useable but don’t go camping for that so all good really

Likte: The campsite was quiet and pleasant, the food in the boathouse was nice and there was plenty of pool tables. The eating and drinking areas were clean and non sticky. The play area outside in the campsite was clean and spacious for football and ball games.

Likte ikke: The toilets and disabled toilet was dirty, often out of toilet paper, dirty sinks and floors I wouldn't want my dog walking on, let alone disabled people. The toilets inside the entertainment block near the pool, were disgusting. The sanitary bins were over flowing, the toilets didn't flush properly. Very disappointed. The Nisa shop looked like it was being ran by ex convicts, I didn't trust them, very unprofessional in appearance and mannerisms. It was very dark in places walking to the tent.

Likte: This is a great site for kids, always something to do. The Touring pitches are nice and big. Park is decent although there’s only one swing which is odd given the size of the place, there’s a good walk for dogs and plenty of places to get food and staff in the shops and bars are all polite and helpful, the site is nice and quiet after 11.30pm.

Likte ikke: The cleanliness of the toilet block was unacceptable, sanitary bins overflowing, blocked toilets. People (including staff in golf buggies) going very fast around the site on electric scooters, bicycles and electric buggies. There was lots of dog poo along the dog walk area, and in the drain next to it, I counted over 15 footballs next to lots of other rubbish in the water, despite advertising the fact it’s home to water voles, which is quite sad!
Staff who are supposed to clean obviously do not. The on-site shop is absolutely extortionate, for example; a pack of digestives are £3. The ID check before arriving is a complete waste of time, considering only one member of the party has to provide ID, it’s totally pointless. Although we will return as my daughter loved it here, but even she said the toilets were an absolute mess! WIFI is absolutely rubbish, even if you pay for it

Likte ikke: Toilets were dirty women’s were worse than men. Kids tv show at breakfast volume way too loud I couldn’t hear my partner talking to me

Likte: Always love here. Staff are amazing,always visit Skipsea Sands two or three times a year. Never ever any problems here. Great size pitches & always feel it’s your own space which we love

We heard that the swimming pool was great!

Likte ikke: The food available onsite could have been more varied and better. This doesn’t matter if you go elsewhere or cook for yourself, obviously.
The toilets near us were closed for maintenance. There were some we could use nearby though.

Likte: The size of the pitches is amazing we were on pitch no1 electric and water on the pitch.
