Cleanliness of the site and the toilet facilities were really good. The onsite shop was fairly priced and well stocked. Also, there is a fresh milk/milkshake shed where you can purchase a choice of flavours. There are also peacocks just wondering around the site that you can purchase feed for.

Didn't give 5 stars as would have loved a play park for the grandkids. There were quite a few youngsters on site who would have really liked an area to play and would have benefited from this. The camping area was also a little way off from the toilet block.

Immaculate immunities.

Too cramped to have a decent pitch of our tent (Horizon 700) Uneven and rocky in parts. No allocated pitches resulted in a lot of wasted space on the grass area. Although we were aware of the shooting range we didn't appreciate how close it was and how load and going it was.

Lovely site. Well located for a stop over on the way to Scotland.

Great facilities on site, including bar & restaurant. We loved having a go at the clay pigeon shoot. Eldest son also tried his had at fly fishing. Wifi great.
Clean facilities. Clean site. Lovely welcome and friendly helpful staff throughout our stay.

Pitch was a bit of squeeze for the awning plus the VW camper. Maybe we need to book a larger pitch or orientate our setup differently to fit on.
Would be good to have a play field for ball games for children. No playground necessary.
