Fantastic campsite with superb facilities. Even had a chippy. Live music in the bar and great coffee shop all on site.

Facilities were excellent and immaculately clean.
Location was good for travelling to nearby places.
Playground was perfect for keeping the kids entertained.

The cafe could provide alternative milk for those with allergies/different food preferences.

The choice of areas to pitch our tent up, there were several locations we could use and we chose the closest to the park which my son thought was great - he really enjoyed the play area and I think it’s to a better standard than other play areas where we have stayed in the past.
The toilet facilities were cleaned regularly, the fish and chip shop on site was really nice and I felt that the kids meal especially was very reasonably priced and great value for money.
Great location to tick off a couple of Wainwright walks too.
All in all a great stay despite the weather!

The neighbours dogs barking and them getting windows replaced at 7 am, not the fault of the site but inconsiderate neighbours

Nice family friendly site with large spaces to pitch tents. Plenty of access to water without walking far. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean and well stocked with loo roll!

No fires allowed although this also helps keep noise to a minimum.

Everything about the site, it's wonderful location, the site facilities, the cleanliness of toilets and showers, the shop and fish and chip shop, the amazing marina that was available and the friendliness of all the staff.

Some very noisy neighbours, however these were dealt with by the sites management within 30 minutes of the complaint the following morning.
They left later that day.

Very nicely kept campsite, plenty of pitching options (with variety), great views and scenery (especially at the back). This campsite is nicely balanced in my opinion it’s not a theme park that’s over burdened but it does have some elements that provides comfort to your stay like a playground, bar and games room and little shop. You still get the camping experience with some of the comfort needed. I’d recommend being prepared to drive beyond the campsite, this isn’t down to the campsite location it’s really because Ullswater has so much to offer that your going to want to get around it to find some of the gems the area has to offer. The facilities on the campsite are fine, there’s a few toilet/shower blocks around the site there clean and have what you need including a space to wash your pots :-). They have a nice playground which our 5 year old enjoyed it’s well equipped and all the kids from the camp enjoyed it. The little shop in my opinion was awesome (my only recommendation for this is they start stocking ice so people with coolers can refresh their ice in the box) but everything else you could need was there including some nice locally sourced meats (yes these went straight to the bbq and was fantastic).

We really don’t have a bad thing to say about this campsite it was a great stay, the staff was friendly, the site rules was communicated clearly and a few times so we knew what to expect (I don’t really think the camp rules was unfair either to be honest just some reasonable expectations of guests) and our stay was filled with fun and adventure. We’ve very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to campers and families looking for a great camping experience in a great place. We are looking to return to the site for more adventures :-)
