The facilities at Treloy were the best I’ve been to for a camping holiday. The was the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the site, with large flat pitches that would easily fit my camper, two awnings and my dog shelter without encroaching on my next door neighbours. Going to the showers was a pleasant surprise, my spotlessly clean shower block had a loo, wash basin and shower in the same, well organised cubicles, with plenty of hot water, and room to move around, so much less chance to leave anything behind. It’s also the first campsite I’ve been to with an ironing room, (which is close to the laundry room). The indoor washing up facilities were very useful when it rained, thankfully not always necessary, and the well equipped laundry room saved me from taking a weeks worth of dirty laundry back home. The restaurant /cafe served good quality food with a very handy takeaway service, and there is also a well stocked shop. Then I walked to an ingeniously cut dog park where it looked like 10 dogs could probably walk around the large field for short or long walks without bumping into each other. I used the dog shower which had warm water, priceless for me and my small white dog, and next to it is a wetsuit shower, very handy for for washing off the sand from shoes and body boards too. There’s plenty of drinking water taps, so no trekking all over the site to fill a kettle. The swimming pool was in a nicely secured area, with a nearby playground, so it kept children of all ages occupied and happy. The dog friendly clubhouse has quiz and bingo nights, and probably more if I had wanted it, and with the security patrol guards at night, I felt, as a solo traveller, extremely safe walking around, and taking my dog for his late night (well lit) walk. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, helping me find every sort of activity in Cornwall. In fact, Treloy had everything that I could possibly want or need for a camping holiday. Solo campers, couples and families can all find great things to do there. I would definitely go there again for a camping holiday.

Super easy to book and send a note to the site. We turned up at the correct time (after 12) and the booking in process was easy and our pitch was ready and perfectly situated with our request catered for. The staff were really helpful and friendly - both in the reception, cafe, bar, grounds people and even the security who keep an eye on the place.
The site is amazing, really clean and excellent facilities for families.
This is my second visit and when I come back to Cornwall this site will be my first choice.

All the rain… but that’s not your fault!
The club house was a bit small for a site this size but the staff were brilliant.

The shower/toilet facilities were outstanding. Great outdoor space for the children to play. A huge credit to the pool/ play area too.the kids loved it!! Very clean!! Staff were very friendly and the cafe had a great selection of food. The shop was always fully stocked too. Great site. Would deffo return . The pitches were nice and spacious too.

Struggled with the barrier driving in most times. It was slow and struggled to read your number plate.
The bar would of been an advantage if it was open a little earlier.

The pitch was fab loads of room and really private. Toilets and showers were spotless I would highly recommend this site to family and friends

Good clean site with spacious pitches. Well kept toilet and shower blocks. Good shop with super friendly staff. Swimming pool is lovely. Great dog on and off lead areas. Big bonus is dog shower and wetsuit shower

Nothing at all...

The bathrooms loved having everything in together.
Showers need cleaning several times a day with so many using them. Could do with floor cleaner in every shower. But on the whole excellent facility block

Being next to the road end of row, with Boardmasters traffic every night. Was awake until 3, most nights the traffic was relentless.

Absolutely loved our stay here so clean and pitches are plenty big enough close to everything staff are great will definitely becoming back

Large private pitch very close to new immaculate toilet and shower block facilities. (Robin). Impressive and well maintained outdoor pool area only spoilt by poor weather during our stay, however this didn't put the wife off who used the pool every morning for early private swim.

Grass pitch became sodden under awning, however due to the amount of rain that landed even a hard standing pitch would have struggled to cope.

This site is immaculate. The facility’s are brilliant. Large pitches

It’s a dog friendly site but dogs are not allowed in the shop or the toilets The shop doesn’t contain enough essentials but what they have is decently priced ( for a site shop )
