The site is rural but in the grounds of a great pub. The team are a delight

Toilet/showers, bit dated

Friendly welcome.Well laid out.Proximity to the pub for good food and beer options.
Close (15mins walk) to the source of the Thames.Worth the short walk.

If I was being picky.
Site has a shower+w/c room between 11 pitches.Would have preferred a separate w/c or a second w/c as occasionally there was a queue, but the facility was regularly cleaned.
No washing up facilities
Some road noise but not really an issue.

Immaculate pitch area and all services you might need, with an out of hours toilet and shower room available.
Food and beer in the pub were all superb and all the staff were really pleasant too.
Definitely stay here again when in the area.

Nothing to dislike, for what we paid were were very happy.

Nice quiet site eben though next to road and railway line, did not get disturbed at all. 11 pitches. Picnic tables set out to use in central grass area

Only one toilet and shower. Both in same room, if someone needed toilet and shower was being used not ideal.
Bread delivery had been made and left in shower/toilet room!!! Need to arrange a different place for it to be left if nobody available to take in.

Location of pitches to the pub, great food friendly people

Lack on signs to the camping area! It didn’t bother me but close to train line and road noise but didn’t keep me awake

Clean site

One of the campers had 6 dogs to one pitch which were causing noise for other campers barking past 11pm

one of the dogs got loose and cause unnecessary problems with other site guest dogs.

We have stayed at other sites where is is a only 2 dog per pitch rule think this maybe something that needs looking into by management.

Food in the pub was lovely, we had Sunday lunch the vegetables were aldenti so if you like mushy veg this is not for you.
Shower was brilliant best ive had on site shame its the only one.

Plot 1 their dogs yapped alot so im glad we had the car to go out as i think they are sited there.
If it was my site i would have asked them to tidy their outdoor area too it makes the entrance to the site look scruffy.
Tree sap stuck to our car and caravan which made them sticky to touch glad it rained on the way home to get most of it off.
No Tv channels even with the ariel lead plugged in by the electric point but we used phone hotspot in the end.
Need a car for rural location.

Really lovely sized pitch for motohome, waste disposal area great, lovely walk along side the pitch so ideal for dogs and kids as away from road, pub was beautiful and staff really friendly and food looked amazing and pub was always busy with diners so must be popular! Shower and toilet was a good bonus as not advertised as believe people have complained.about there only being 1 wasn't a problem just have to wait we didn't really have to wait! We really enjoyed it! Is a little road noise but didn't really notice it after a while and is on a main road so understandable! Wifi didn't reach pitch but didn't bother us as nice to switch off and can get free WiFi at pub and enjoy a pint xx

None stayed at alot worse!

Facilities were great and hospitality good

6 plus barking dogs on one pitch untill late and management oblivious to how many campers were upset by this
