Ik was niet zo blij met: Pub is advertised as "walkable" which really is not the case as you'll need to walk along the verge of the busy A44 for well over 30 minutes. A bit isolated in regards good walks as the public right of ways are not easy to find. Also was advertised as a forest site. It's nowhere near a forest!!

I particularly enjoyed the good quality bed and bedding. First-class facilities - warm bathrooms, warm showers, impeccably clean. Very useful indoor washing-up area. Excellent walking on the doorstep. Andy is a very welcoming host.
Ik was niet zo blij met: The minor issue of some road noise during the day, which is nothing that can be changed. In any case, it gets very quiet at night (and very dark, so fantastic star-gazing opportunities).

Thanks for your booking and review, sorry to hear our site wasn’t for you but great to see you’d recommend us to friends and you liked our facilities, accessibility and how well maintained our site was. The public rights of way pass directly through our grounds in both directions extremely easy to find offering miles of walks in both directions with amazing views from the top of the llandegley rocks. Our local pub The Seven Arms is .9 mile from site averaging 10-20 minute walk but does depend on your walking ability, we regularly offer lifts to and from the pub especially this time of year with darker miserable evenings! Many of our guests take the longer route round the back lanes in the summer offering more walks and views! I’ve not been able to find where we are advertised as a “forest site”, forestry’s are listed under near by attractions as we have the vast Radnor forest at 2.5 miles from site along with the stunning water break its neck waterfall both offering mile upon mile of woodland walks along with fish pools forestry and warren woods.
