Beautiful views, lots of space

No hot water in toilets/ washing up. Ground scorched from fires. Very expensive for what it was

Back to basics, no signal, no noise, peace and mountains.

Having to go home was a disappointment.

Everything was great, the campsite was really chilled, just turn up and pitch up, the farm buildings were cute and well kept (showers and pizza barn and little shop/cafe), toilets on site were better than you’d imagine for a campsite, everyone staying was friendly and respectable and the host was extremely welcoming and helpful with everything! Always someone on site to ask any questions and the site itself is beautiful and only a short walk to the beginning of our trek up Scafell Pike.

Nice site with a little stream which was lovely to listen to at night. Showers were hot.

Some Duke of Edinburgh students came on one night and were very noisy - drinking and shouting. Also very noisy and woke everyone up in the morning. We dreaded more coming and another lot came the second night but were quieter thankfully. Otherwise was quite quiet. The pitches were quite close together.

The toilets were close to the camp site, the showers were hot, the pizza was amazing!

Unfortunately I have to drop the rating for this site due to how terrible the ground is. When I arrived it had rained a bit, but nothing crazy, and most of the site was inaccessible. The car struggled to drive despite most of the site being flat, just mud and water everywhere. Very hard to find a decent pitch. If there’s been any kind of rainfall recently I can’t recommend staying here. Also, the showers are a considerable walk down the road and due to it raining on the evening I decided it wasn’t worth the walk, so can’t comment on them, but disappointing

Location was perfect, showers were hot, farmer was helpful.
The local pub is lovely too.

The ground was quite sodden ans muddy which I know can't be helped but thought if you're reading this it's worth knowing.

The location... Quiet setting...Hot showers...Clean toilets...Off ground campfires allowed...Farm shop and cafe...Very helpful and extremely polite owner...Washing facilities on site...Nicely spaced level pitches.
