Perfect location with everything on your doorstop. Showers were spotless and will definitely be back for a longer stay next year.

The pitch was roomy with a lovely sea view. The new bathrooms and showers were really clean at all times with lots of hot water. Pot washing area and outdoor showers were also clean with lots of hot water. Great for families. A short walk to the beach and on the whole a quiet site (we stayed for the week). Fab breakfast food van every morning too!

The ONLY issue which wasn’t the fault of the campsite was someone stole our freezer pack from the communal freezer (it had our name on it). This pack was needed to keep our Insulin cool, so it caused a real issue. Four days into the stay someone decided to return it. As I say, this wasn’t the fault of the campsite. But very frustrating and unnecessary

A lovely site with great facilities which are clean and well kept.
A friendly welcome.
The camping area isn't divided into designated spots so you can camp where you like.
Easy access to the beach in this lovely uncommercialsed village.

It can be windy on top of the hill but not really a problem if you consider that when orientating your tent/awning!

Location. New facilities. Helpful site managers when we had trouble with a neighbour male being aggressive with his female partner late at night.

A bit slopey but we were fine- lots of flat areas.
Nothing they can do about it but so many people letting dogs off leads leading to dog poo. Would avoid going to the back next time because they seem to hang around there out of sight.

The view was amazing, facilities modern and always clean. The wardens were very nice and they have great knowledge of the area.

Great facilities on site. Always clean and tidy. Perfect position for walking along the coastal path or the canal.
Have stayed in Widemouth Bay numerous times never fails to disappoint

Toilets blocks were really clean and appeared fairly new, the showers were hot and had reasonable water pressure. Campsite wardens were very friendly and areas to camp were spacious and tidy.

I would say some of the other campers were loud and obnoxious, but before we could even report them the warden had addressed the issue and ensured we could all get a restful night!
