Great location, beautiful views of sunset. Can walk your surfboard down to the beach from here. Clean toilet block. Fourth time visiting.

The quietness, clean and functional toilets and shower block and of course the view and beach access !!
Our hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly too, Gary offered to pick me up a new gas canister from the town as I found I had packed the wrong one !

Excellent place to camp with friends! The view is incredible, fantastic location with extremely clean showers + free wifi, charging stations and washing up facilities (all a surprise/bonus to us). Beautiful beach, lovely local shop and great pub all less than 5mins away. Absolutely blown away by how good this campsite was, and for such a decent price too! Highly recommend, and will definitely return some day :)

What an amazing campsite! The view is the massive sell of this site, but also the close proximity to the beach/sea. The wardens were really friendly and actually offered to ask a motorhome to move as they parked quite close, but we didn't really mind. The toilet/shower block was clean and looks almost new.

Location - views over to Widemouth Bay from the site are beautiful and you can walk from the campsite onto the coastal path or down to the beach.

Pub/restaurant next door - handy for walking to for a drink or meal

Facilities - great facilities, really clean. Great number of toilets, showers and sinks for the size of the site. Wardens gave us a friendly welcome and explained where everything was on the site etc.

No real dislikes….just a couple of preferences!
Would prefer if pitches were marked out or had some kind of marker - when travelling in a campervan it makes it difficult to then keep your pitch if you go out etc.

Could do with a bin in the main toilet area (there are small bins within each toilet cubicle but nothing in the sink area). Could also do with some hooks in the sink area to hang wash bags etc when brushing teeth to save having to sit these on another sink.
