The showers and toilets were appalling. We were unable to book on a lot of the activities and couldn’t get into the indoor swimming pool. Wouldn’t return.

The size of the pitch

We will not be returning to this site. We were unable to book on any of the activities we wanted to do, as everything was fully booked. The only activity that was free to use was the swimming pool and the inside pool was fully booked for the whole of our stay!! (I tried to book this a week before) Surely you should be guaranteed a swim a day as part of your booking?? We did use the outside pool, but there was only a certain amount of time you could stay in there as the weather wasn’t great and it was cold. The facilities were absolutely disgusting. The toilets were blocked, backed up and there was faeces smeared on the walls. There was used toilet roll all over the floors. The showers were covered in mud/hair/grass/mould and you would struggle to wash your hair with the pressure of the water. It is clear they are not cleaned regularly. Really disappointed and wouldn’t return. Staff aren’t helpful about not being able to book on things and the state of facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay. The entire site was clean, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. We stayed in one of the safari tents, which was spotless and very well maintained. It was a really lovely space, and the kids absolutely loved it. When we needed extra linen, the housekeeping staff were quick to help and very accommodating.

We visited during term time, so some facilities like the trampolines, outdoor pool, and certain activities weren’t operating—but we were aware of this beforehand and actually preferred it that way. With fewer visitors, we were able to enjoy the site's activities and entertainment venues without feeling crowded.

The entertainment team was fantastic, offering a great variety of activities for young children, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The evening entertainment was also a highlight, feeling more personal and engaging thanks to the smaller number of guests.

Overall, this is a great option for families with children who might feel overwhelmed in busier environments, but still want to enjoy everything a holiday park like this has to offer.

The on-site restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, although the fish and chips were reasonably priced and very enjoyable. Thankfully, there’s a lovely pub right next door with more affordable prices, a children’s play area, and a welcoming atmosphere. There are also several other local restaurants nearby, offering a good variety of options.

The well maintained pitch, the showers were always clean and smelt lovey and the camp was very charm and quiet. We really enjoyed using the indoor heated pool everyday, an added bonus. Thankyou for a great stay.

Location, friendly reception staff, clean toilets. Good facilities for families.

Quiet times from 22:30 but we had people on site, staying opposite who were still being noisy at 1:30 am. Did not appear to be anyone on site to implement this.
Tree cutting taking place very early in the morning. About 8am.
Showers were adequate but on a very short timer, so constantly have to push the button to turn on. Luke warm too.

So much to do, we absolutely loved this site.
Was first time taking our caravan and this site had it all.
