Friendly staff, very helpful. Beautiful views of the Hook peninsula from our tent. Would recommend.

Lovely setting with beautiful views. The coffee trailer was nice and the indoor and outdoor seating area was good to have. Live music would appeal to many although our group didn’t bother with it really.

Serious lack of facilities (toilets and showers). There are 2 bathrooms with WC, wash hand basin and bath with a shower over it which seemed to only be cold water. Then further up the field there are 4 toilets, 4 sinks & 1 electric shower. For such a large camping site with huge volumes of people 1 electric shower is not sufficient. The queues were ridiculous for showers at all times. And when someone was in the shower over the bath, it then meant that toilet queue built up. Even for something as simple as brushing teeth at night and toilet before bed there was a constant queue which is very frustrating. They absolutely need more showers and toilets asap.
Also the pitches are all at a slope which makes it very difficult for sleeping as there’s no way of having a flat pitch.
No playground for kids which is very unusual in a family campsite.

The children liked dancing to the live music.

Clean facilities

Very noisy campground with loud music playing until 2am

Only 2 showers/toilets so very long waits in the morning

Bathrooms very frequently cleaned and toilet paper was always there and even once it was missing i could just grab it and bring it to toilet area.
Music evening

Electric shower was working at first and then another day stopped, water wasnt coming out, so couldnt use it.
Other 2 bathtubs were giving water which was imposible to regulate, cause it was switching from boiling hot or cold by it self, so imposible to use.
All together 3 shower/baths are not enought for soo many ppl. Mainly once toilet and baths are not in separate spaces.
Constantly had to queue to use toilet.
Make no sence to finish music at 11.30pm and no noice rule at 11.30pm. There should be at least 30 min time for kids and adults to brush their teeth.
Radio music was put on at 8.10am, way too early. Only 8 and a half an hour between night music to morning music.
Shop is missing where ppl can get things they might have forgotten to bring( ear plugs, tooth brush, shampoo, towel etc)
No entartainment or things to do for kids( playground, animals, game room, ping pong table......absolutely nothing indoor or outdoor) thats why we stood 2 nights instead of 3 nights, nothing to entertain kids in rain.
Tent area by the wine bar is not a flat surface so we all had problems sleeping as we felt like rolling on each other during the night.
Bins are too far uphill.
Beach is not a beach for kids to swim, so shouldnt even be mentioned.

John and Margaret were incredibly welcoming - great communication before hand - I was bringing my daughter (14) and two friends
Fantastic facilities and safe environment to let the girls off on their own and to the music in the evenings
They loved the pony trekking

The social side.

Not enough showers or toilets

Great facilities and they were cleaned regularly. The weekend music was an added bonus. Great to have a coffee shop/chip van on site, very convenient especially with young children.

Clean and tidy Campsite. Great atmosphere, especially with nightly entertainment. Owners were friendly and good fun. Overall fab place to stay
