We had been at this campsite before and had a great time. I went at the end of May 2025 and had an even better time with friends. The site is really nice. Wasn't too busy, other campers were very respectful, and the staff were very accommodating. My friend forgot to bring a electric pump for his bougie air mattress and he contacted the staff who brought him a power generator to get it done. Will be coming back here for a peaceful getaway.

The views from the site are wonderful. It is on an elevated position overlooking the Trent Valley. So great to watch the sunset in your deck chair with a nice glass of wine. It is a small site but there are enough places to spread out and not have to be too close to other campers. Other visitors have been respectful and kept noise down at night to make it a relaxing and peaceful campsite. There are no showers, but clean well kept toilets and a place to wash your dishes. Hammocks and fairy lights in the trees.
15 minute pleasant walk across fields to East Bridgford village, with a pub, church and local shop. Lots of wildlife to look out for, Red Kites, Pheasants and Hares spotted on my last visit.

Wish there were shower facilities so I could extend my stay.

Quiet site. No set pitches so go where you want. Clean facilities. Some outdoor furniture, fire pits, and relaxation areas were available to use. Short grass. Level pitches. Firm ground. Spectacular views west facing views out over the Vale of Belvoir for an amazing sunset.

Very windy. Site is on a hill so not sheltered. Very rutted track down to the site with some huge holes with sharp edges and bricks in them. No chemical toilet point that I could find.

Lots of open space or private smaller secluded areas. Fantastic views over Trent Valley. Gunthorpe is a short drive with pub & restaurants.

Great views, clean toilets, football area, hammocks in the trees lit up at night. Great for a weekend away. Will be back next summer to enjoy a sunset (we got a storm instead)

Nice and quiet ideal for an overnight stay. Good choice of places to pitch(rooftop tent). Plenty of space to walk my dog and lovely views over the valley

What a place feels like you are miles from anywhere, I was lucky I had the whole site to myself for 1 night. The views are wonderful especially on a clear sunny day you can see fields and hills for miles, great little toilets (I'm not that fully equipped for off grid) and washing up facilities. The bell tent areas look great and the little seating area in front of them is fab. Tom the owner popped across to make sure everything was ok. Definitely be coming back for a getaway with misses.
