Pretty, friendly, well managed, well equipped ... we loved everything about this place! Good, clean facilities, well stocked little shop, plenty of info' about the local area, fantastic play area for children, good sized pitch area for our tent, easy to find, walkable distance to the beach, all-in-all a very inviting and friendly place. We have no hesitation in recommending Trevothan and will be returning again in the future 👍

Regarding the check-out time, we completely understand that 12 noon is common at many sites. Because we take so much pride in ensuring every pitch is perfectly tidy, and that the facilities are deep-cleaned for the next arrival, that extra window in the morning is vital for our team to work their magic.
We appreciate the feedback, as it helps us see things from our campers' perspective. Outside of high season we can be flexible on departure times when asked at reception. We hope the rest of your stay was relaxing enough to make up for the early start on your final day.

Sorry to see your ratings are lower than we are used to and wish we had had the opportunity to speak with you about any issues whilst you were here for your 2 night stay. I must say we have checked the camping pitch and talked to neighbouring pitches and no flies were evident or reported by others. In fact the review below from Nigel G is from the previous guest on the same pitch. We accommodated you on your chosen camping field pitch as you wished to change your booking from a hardstanding so are disappointed you didn't then feel able to talk to us again.

The 2 weeks we were there were very quiet even allowing for the Womens Euros quarter finals! The owners are super friendly and helpful. The small site shop has plenty of essential items and on one occasion they even raided their own kitchen for a missing spice ingredient. The toilet and shower blocks look recently upgraded and were always very clean. We found the laundry washing and the ice block freezers very useful. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff.

Beautifully quiet with when we stayed, the pitches are large enough for a large tent and a gazebo and you can park next to it. The location is abit remote but not a problem as Helston is only about 20 minutes drive and has plenty of supermarkets. The local beach of Coverack is about a 30 minute walk away with a couple of shops selling coffee and snacks and of course ice creams. Facilities on the site are second to none. 2 shower blocks which are impeccably clean with plenty of hot water. They have 2 washing machines and tumble driers which are coin operated so bring plenty of change if you want to use them. They even have a barrel to wash wet suits and bathing costumes so as not to sandy up the washing facilities I’m guessing. The site is dog friendly with 2 secure dog walking fields and even a shower to wash them too. They have a small shop with the essentials and although we’ve never had to buy anything it looked reasonably priced. All in all a majorly nice site if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We will definitely be back for a third visit. Oh yeah and the WiFi signal was excellent. 👍🏼
