Whilst the site had basic camping facilities they were very clean which I feel is important. The grass was also well maintained. The lady at checkin was very informative, and helpful when finding pitches close to our other party. The guy behind the bar was very busy but polite and worked hard - it did get a bit stressful for him when the card machine went down! It was also go to see that the owner wasn’t afraid to address poorly behaved guests. Only a quick stay for us this time but we will definitely be back as the location, beach, village, donkeys and goats made it a great place for families

Nice little site, well maintained with beautiful views and nice food. We went on a Saturday and they were serving pizzas in the evening which were lovely as well as had a small bar on site and a shop.

Toilets could do with a little update as some of the doors on the ladies toilets didn’t lock properly

Loved this place,everything was perfect,the pub is cracking,view out of this world,staff nothing is too much trouble

Best site we’ve have been to so far & will be back

Small site. Quietness. Location. Close to sea and Fairbourne . Friendly staff. Clean toilets & showers. Liked local pub Garthangharad. Beautiful views, although railway embankment close to bottom of site but trains infrequent.

Poorly stocked farm shop particularly as village shop small and with limited choice. Cafe/bar not open. Disliked coin operated showers with difficult temperature regulation. One out of order for part of our stay.

Friendly. Views were fab. Let us move pitch to help calm dog as we were originally parked right by the donkeys. Farm shop and bar were nice.

Toilets were a bit dirty and the shower very temperamental. Pitches weren't as big as we thought for a 7 meter motor home . Nowhere to dump waste water for a motorhome .

Such a lovely peaceful site, smallish (perfect size for us!), but with well spaced mainly level pitches, clean facilities, a little farm shop and a coffee house/bar open at weekends (more frequently in high season). There are pygmy goats, brown sheep and the cutest mini donkeys in the field next door. There's even a sauna on site that can be booked by the hour!
Friendly helpful staff around if needed.

The village has a pub, shop and train station all 5 mins walk away in one direction, while the path to the pebbly beach is 5 minutes the other way. The trains were a great way to hop up and down the coast, and there's loads of places worth visiting in the wider area.

The view, amazing, seeing the trains trundle past. Lovely family owners with goats and donkeys. Beautiful deserted beach. Peaceful with good facilities, the pub in the village a real bonus, great hosts, food and real ale.

A wonderful little campsite. Was about half-full when we stayed there. We travel with a one year old who likes to explore her surroundings, this campsite felt safe and friendly enough to potter around. There is a cafe and a farm shop on site, the staff is great. Train and bus stops in walking distance. Great find!
