This site is just what we wanted good location with on site public house which served good food busy stop in village to get to Goole or surounding eares nice walks on the river

Nothing to dislike

Nice area, good size pitch with a park next to us.

Bit awkward being the only ones there in a field behind a pub if I’m being honest. We booked this one as it said fishing available on site for my son however there is no possible way of fishing at the river due to mud and reeds. Can’t be helped but shouldn’t be advertised as a fishing site. Have to pay for showers however the water stops every few seconds so you have to constantly press the button to restart it, when your on a time limit it isn’t ideal

Lovely quiet site, owner came and welcomed us, everything was clean and tidy. The pitch was a good size, level and plenty of room to sit out in the lovely weather. The food in pub was very good with friendly staff making you very welcome. Would recommend the site to anyone who wants a quiet and friendly place to stay

Lovely clean site, excellent attentive and helpful staff. My kids had a lovely time and adventure.

Lovely surroundings for Walks around the River Ouse, pub does lovely food especially the Sunday roast.

My Car was Damaged 🙈

The back 1/4 door was scratched i dont know how as i was parked up at the end with 3 other cars and i didnt move my car for my few Days stay!

(Not the camp owners fault)

Toilets close by, little play area for the kids, clean, small not to busy,

Would definitely use again even with the problems listed this was one group hoping we’re not that unlucky to have same group there next time 🤣

No one was around so unfortunately when people are coming back from the pub pissed up arguing and fighting and music blaring across the camp site till 2 in a morning with the group of 3 tents all pissed up shouting and arguing meaning I had to drive home with my two youngest children at 2am who was tired and wanted to sleep wasn’t very good, my husband stayed with our stuff but we had to pack up and leave a night early as the same group was drinking from morning arguing and shouting and definitely didn’t want a repeat performance of the night before
If there was security or staff onsite they would of known they had been arguing in the pub on site nearly fighting (we know this as they was bragging about it) they would also be able to tell them to quieten down & also turn music off as I’m sure just like us next to them the tents at the end from us would of felt the same

Nice and quiet , pub on the pitch.

I didn’t expect to pay for a shower: 1£ for 2 min. When you pay for an accommodation I was thinking that warm water is included- unfortunately wasn’t this time. I am doing camping since 2012 and this is first time when I have to pay for a shower.
