Absolutely beautiful location for a camp site. We stayed 3 nights. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. I'm unsure what others reviews meant about sheep poo. We didn't see any on the field.

Toilet/shower cubicles could be a bit bigger. They could also do with upgrading. It won't put us off visiting again though. It was bliss

Been here twice now and will come again. It’s a large area to keep yourself to yourself with a lovely view. Shame you can’t fish the river

Very nice place, the owner looks well after you. The river wiew is nice if it warm whether you can swim easily and enjoy.no complains at at all if you wanna go out from home is a nice place to go🤩🤩 the owners are nice and happy to help with woood if you need a fire. The most important thing is that you can do a open fire as long as you want.

The view of the lake and the sheep about,allowed to have campfire, the owners were very polite

The fact that there was poo all over the grass, the kids ended up getting poo all over them, had to watch every single step, the showers had no lights and the water was to hot for the kids, the toilets had no light in evening or night which means you have to always be careful and carrying touch

Owners are lovely, by the river, showers and toilets on side.

Sheep poo on the pitching area ( adults more likely will avoid them however kids playing ball not so much lol )we struggled to put tent on the clean area.

Great pitch near River, loved the working farm, very helpful lady called janette on site and owner (sorry forgot his name) felt very comfortable as a lone female and two dogs, dogs had to stay on leads which was good as my dog panics if an other dogs runs up to him, loved the recycled sheep trailer as toilets and a good washing up area

Maybe a little pricey for me but great value if a few of you together

Beautiful scenery. Nice and relaxed site. Sheep wandered through the field from time to time :)
Bbq's and fires off the ground are allowed. Fire wood was sold daily.

I wish there was some easy access to the river on the camp site side. But I assume it is not owned by the site.
