What a great little campsite, it was nicely presented with immaculate toilet and shower facilities. Easily accessed from the M5/A38. The night lighting (solar and fairy lights) was a nice touch. Good communications with the owners.
As others have mentioned there is a little road noise during the day but nothing too intrusive, we will definitely use this site again and will gladly recommend to others.

Everything!. What a fabulous site. Our hosts had definitely gone the extra mile. The site was beautifully presented and the pitches were well laid out. The facilities were exceptional, clean and modern. A good site for a base to tour the fabulous sites in the area. There was a bit of traffic noise but it didn't bother us and the hosts had put up a decent fence to suppress the noise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good clean and well maintained site, with it only having 10 pitches there wasn't many people about. The toilets were very clean and the shower was amazing.

The site is close to a main road, there is some traffic noise, however this didn't effect me sleeping.

Unfortunately the pitch we was on was the closest to the road. The noise was horrendous, the road is a rat run for HGVs and constantly all night the noise and vibrations kept us up and we barely had 20/30 minutes of sleep.

Someone with a terribly loud motorcycle reving it at around 9/10pm closing the gate was also unpleasant as it caused the van to vibrate.

I didn’t find the site relaxing and as a lack of sleep had a terrible headache.

I would have preferred screaming children than the noise and violent shaking of the van when HGVs bombed past all throughout the night. It is a nicely laid out site, but we had a night from hell.

We love everything about this camp site.its clean and tidy just can’t fault anything.
The showers and toilets are so clean and tidy they are a pleasure to use . My dogs love having a run in the dog garden in the mornings before we go off for our beach walk. The pitches are a good size and easily accessible we have our motorhome and car on the pitch together and still plenty of room We are having such a relaxed time here that we’ve booked to stay another 2 nights. We would highly recommend and definitely return here. Thank you 🙏 for keeping this site open all year

Nothing to dislike…… yes the dog garden is muddy but it February
Yes it can be noisy from the road but we have slept very well as you do tend to shut it out …. So ignore the negative reviews come see for yourselves……it’s a great get away

We decided to stay an extra day due to bad weather for travelling, but later in the day the weather cleared and Mark had no hesitation in offering us a refund so we could leave , but we declined and stayed the extra day despite his understanding.
Also the the special nice touches in the amenities were appreciated.
