Shop area has some free-to-use lawn toys the kids could borrow to have fun with and it was refreshing to see so many families using these, playing classic games outside like badminton, cricket, hoops and a cornhole board, instead of phones and devices etc.
Where possible they tried to group families with similar aged children together which has benefits to both those with and without kids, also a nice touch.
The site owners were very friendly, often present and just a phone call away if you ever needed them. They were clearly trustworthy of their guests, with an 'honesty box' way of paying 50p for the showers, and a SumUp machine to pay for shopping bits if they're not around at the time.
Happily stay here again the next time we visit Suffolk.

We are extremely saddened and disappointed to receive this review. We work very hard to ensure that everyone is happy and that the atmosphere out on the campsite is a friendly one. We are regularly out on the camping field - meeting arrivals, checking that people are ok etc, so we are easy to reach if someone has a problem. We are a small site, but Bank Holiday weekend, at the start of the May half term holiday is one of our busiest times. We welcome families and enjoy watching them making use of our children's games, cricket sets etc. It's great to see people enjoying the outdoors.
Pitches are separate and, especially on the electric hook-up side of the campsite, it's very difficult to walk through other people's pitches. There is a wide grass strip in front of the electric hook-up pitches. You were in pitch 1, which is in a corner, with a hedge to one side and behind. It is one of the closest pitches to the small shower block and shop, so people will have walked passed your pitch.
We're pleased that you liked the cleanliness of our showers and toilets. Although you've said that you wouldn't come to stay again, we wish that you might come back, perhaps mid-week, or out of school holiday time, as this might suit you better. We're sorry that you couldn't talk to us directly about the issues you had. We're proud of our high ratings and this is a significant blow for our small family business.

Thanks very much for your lovely review. We were pleased to be able to help you out. We're lucky to have The (CAMRA award winning) Rumburgh Buck just up the road, with its real ale and good pub food just up the road.
There is a small mirror in the wash cubicle in the shower block and there is a full length mirror (and socket for hair driers/straighteners etc) in the little side room, where the communal fridge freezer is.
