Fantastic site with beautiful views. Toilet/shower block was immaculately clean and very warm.
The pub was so cosy, staff really welcoming and the Sunday carvery was delicious. Some wonderful walks from the site, we did the Flagg and Chelmorton route. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing everything was perfect

Wonderful hosts who couldn’t do enough for you ( including towing various Moho’s off in really bad weather).
A lovely touch was leafleted information given on local area and walks. Pub had a really friendly atmosphere. It was a pleasure to take part in and win the pub quiz on Thursday night. The complimentary sandwiches and chips were really tasty and such a treat.
The campsite was really well equipped ( immaculate toilets, showers and wash up area). Clinical toilet disposal unit also very clean .
Pitches were spacious and all had EHU and water supply ( one between two pitches.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. There is nothing I can think of to improve on.

Good pitch, next to the high peak trail in the Peak District. The showers/toilets are clean and would thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come again. The pub also serves excellent breakfast which is a bonus.

Beautiful clean, well set up site, fantastic views. Facilities absolutely 1st class, clean, warm really could not fault them. Staff were friendly, helpful and the pub was lovely. Had a wonderful hot chocolate sat by the open fire after a great hike in the surrounding countryside. So many beautiful walks and close to a fantastic cycle trail. Will definitely be coming back many times !! Cannot recommend enough xx

The views from the site are stunning. The pitches are very spacious and well kept. Toilets and showers were very clean. The pub/ restaurant is really nice and the food is 10/10. All the staff are very friendly and nice.

My favourite little touch is that you get a leaflet on check in that has directions for multiple walks. We managed to do one and it was brilliant. We will definitely be returning.

I do think that the extra fee for dogs/ awnings is a little expensive.

Great start to the year.
The standard has been set for other sites we visit this year. Campsite is a nice size so not over run and facilities are very clean and modern. Pub is really nice and the fires do kick out some heat. The food is great. First night, they still had the valentines menu so had the rib eye and my partner had the vege burger. Both were great. We also ate there the 2 ns night. Gammon was great and the fish and chips were spot on. All staff were great and would deffo come back.

Only a minor but the shower heads can’t be moved and the pressure is very high. Don’t switch it on to plwarm up with the door open as you’ll flood the floor. Try the bookstore down the road for lunch also. That’s a treat.

The site was easy to find and not very busy.
The pub was delightful and served great food for our evening meal and the staff were very friendly.
Site was simple, but shower block was clean and showers were hot.

Great site, easy to find, pretty level pitches with good views of the surrounding countryside all alongside a great pub serving great food.
Bridget was lovely as a host, even taking the trouble to get in touch with us when we were snowed in to ask if we were short of anything, she opened the Pub on the evening just for us to eat and have a few pints.
Great walks nearby, literally a half hour walk south along the High Peak trail found us at another pub! and there were others we didn't get time to sample.

If there is a dislike, the only one I think that could be mentioned would be the noise from the road, personally as it was winter and we weren't outside, you didn't notice it much, I could imagine in the summer that the noise could be more intrusive.
