We arrived at 2pm and checked straight in. The site is very close to Le Shuttle and was an easy drive - this was our first time driving abroad and we found it really easy. Our only issue was with our sat nav taking us further along the road and we had to turn back around.
On check in the lady at reception showed us to our pitch which was situated behind the numbered pitches and to be honest we preferred that area as it felt less busy, and the pitches still had electric. The pitch was huge and we had our tent and separate living area and car, with still space for more.
The pool was definitely a bonus, kids really enjoyed it as did we, with sun loungers. Kids do need to be supervised as no pool attendant. The pool is open from 10am -6pm. There’s also a separate water slide which the kids loved.
We walked out of the site into the town and we found a bar with pool table, and lots of other little bars, which were closed when we went although there seemed a good selection. There was also a Lidl about a 10 minute drive away.
There was a bar on site which was open 3pm until 10pm, shop and restaurant. We didn’t book the restaurant as we ran out of time but we heard it was very good.
The shower blocks and toilets were kept clean and never any issue with queuing and always plenty of toilet paper - we went end of July and returned today 3rd August and no issues with being over crowded. The site is also really quiet at night, come 10pm the site is quiet, no music, no rowdy families shouting or kids running around - this was definitely a plus for us!
The site also had a children’s play park, outdoor gym, basket ball hoop, table tennis tables and tennis courts.
We also drove into Calais (20 minutes) where there is a lovely beach and kids play area with lots of bars and restaurants.
Overall we had a great stay, the anire is well situated, and we would definitely return.

Lack of soap in toilets. Lots of people in and out the toilets all day and we only found one block that had soap, with some blocks not even having dispensers for soap. Next time we’ll definitely take our own.
Ice pack refreezing - we asked about this and was advised to put the ice blocks in the freezer at reception from where the ice creams were being sold? Not sure if we misunderstood but we didn’t leave them as we didn’t like the idea of leaving them there, although we had planned on using the refreezing option as we didn’t have any other means of cooling things but we worked around it.

Spacious site with great facilities, including pool, sports areas and shops/bars etc. Location is great for travelling to/from Calais, and staff are visible and friendly.

Nearest toilet block to us was a bit outdated and tired.

Clean amenities, well maintained. Quiet campsite, perfect for a start or finish to your journey

The large pitches and the closeness of the toilet and shower facilities. The restaurant and bar are reasonably priced and there was a good amount of choices.

A little bit of of road noise due to tractors starting early for harvesting, this did not spoil our stay
WiFi disappointing, paid 8 euro for 3 days, and this activated 1 device, after 6 weeks in France this was the only site we had to pay for WiFi

Lovely calm site with great facilities. We were only there for one night but ate at the restaurant (amazing food) and ordered some fresh bread and pastries for the morning as we left. The staff were all very helpful and the site facilities were kept clean. Would return back for sure.

Was only there for one night wished we was there longer as was very good value for money and loads to keep the young one entertained so will definitely be booking to stay there again and the staff went out there way to help you

The area, how free it was and the pool was very nice. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Bathrooms A bit on the dirty side. Some have soap some don't. Some showers were up to 30 seconds running each push of a button and some only 5 seconds. Some were hot and some cold (although they should be hot).

Sehr gepflegter toller Platz mit sehr netter Rezeption. Restaurant, Spielplatz, etc, etc.

I love this campsite , 20minutes from tunnel and you are straight into French camping experience. Lovely grounds , toilet/ show blocks clean and up to date. Nice bar/ snack area on site , small grocery where you can order bread. Has attached a very good restaurant used by locals which is always a good sign. Loverly swimming pool and children’s play area. Is lovely not only for stop over for Calais but also for a longer stay. I have stayed here before and often recommend on face book groups when people are asking for recommendations near Calais. However do read my comments re disliked .

Booked on pitch up and payed for an electric grass pitch. They gave us a pitch right on edge of campsite that seemed rather like an overflow area as pitches were not numbered as others on site are. Lady who took is to the pitch pointed towards a tree at the back of pitch and said electric was by this. There was no electric or anywhere near it. Walking round the site there were plenty of free pitches with electric and I don’t understand why were put on the edge away from others. On this occasion this was not the happy camping last night of my holiday that I expected from this expensive campsite.
