The pool was a highlight: heated and clean. There are several recliners and parasols. We often had the pool to ourselves or with one or two others if we timed it right.
The grass pitch was shady and the trees maintained well to avoid overhang causing tent damage. We pitched very close to the facilities which was convenient. There is evening entertainment, but as it’s a small site it doesn’t get rowdy - but just worth noting there is a little noise up to 10pm if you are seeking a 24/7 peaceful retreat. During the day the site is very quiet, I finished many novels!
There is a bakery (and small supermarket) a short walk away, perfect for pastries for breakfast and fresh bread. Larger supermarkets are a short drive and La Rochelle is an easy 30-40 minute drive. There are some beautiful parks and villages to visit closer to the site, the location is ideal for unwinding.
We would definitely recommend this site.

Although a fairly small site they had regular entertainment such as bingo and karaoke. They have a bar, serving food in the evenings and a snack bar open at lunchtimes. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pitches were nice and shady. The site is walking distance to the village with convenience store and bakery. It's a great place to stay for a peaceful holiday

Nous prenons bonne note de votre commentaire, mais permettez-nous d’apporter des précisions.
Vous avez bénéficié d’une réservation de dernière minute, ce qui vous a permis d’obtenir un emplacement alors que le camping affichait déjà un fort taux d’occupation. Il est donc logique que certains espaces communs, comme la piscine, soient très fréquentés, surtout en période de canicule.
Concernant le bruit, nous rappelons que des règles strictes de tranquillité sont mises en place et appliquées par nos équipes. Cependant, un camping n’est pas un lieu de silence absolu, surtout en période estivale.
Enfin, l’entretien des sanitaires est assuré plusieurs fois par jour. Si un passage ponctuel ne vous a pas semblé à la hauteur, cela n'est pas dû au nettoyage mais à l'incivilité des personnes, il aurait été plus constructif de le signaler immédiatement à l’accueil afin que nous intervenions, plutôt que de l’écrire a posteriori.
Nous regrettons que vous n’ayez retenu que les points négatifs, alors que nos équipes mettent tout en œuvre pour accueillir au mieux, même à la dernière minute.
