Asked for sunny spot when booking but was put in shady spot. Only spot left. Electric supply intermittent struggled to run fridge .

This is what we look for in a Spanish site, quaint, rustic charm, lovely gardens, very feel good. We booked for four nights on Pitch Up, app, worked out at €24 a night, very good value. On arrival we were greeted by the nice lady owner, who welcomed us. There are tremendous walking opportunities in this area, all immediately accessible from the site. The toilets, were frequently cleaned. Mojacar Playa, is a nice walk or cycle away on the coastal path. There is a bus for those with no dogs. We would certainly return.

Found this place absolutely lovely
Not a lot going on roundabout but if you’re going to walk about 35 minutes down the hill you can get a bus into the village. A taxi back will cost you approximately €15 but there is a bus twice a day that goes past the site.
If you decide to walk up the hill approximately 2 km, there’s another village whether there is a couple of bars and restaurants
There is a bar on the site small snacks only the prices are very good considering where you are but if you want to do proper shopping, you would have to go down to the village which is great if you’ve got transport. The washing facility is cleaning facilities are absolutely excellent. Can’t wait to get back.

Very basic site, a good 10 minute drive away from Mojácar, so you need transport if you are staying there.

Location, in the hills, shady pitches excellent facilities, friendly host, cafe/bar not open as too early in season, no problem for us. Mostly level pitches in three tiers. Turn right Mojocar 15 mins in van lots of parking spaces for bars cafes etc.or turn left Sopalmo village cafes and bars. Loved it.

Not a very good path yet to nearest beach if you wanted to walk, looks as if its not finished yet though.
