We called the emergency number and they came straight away and helped us hold the tent down and retrieve our belongings from inside. They allowed us to use their pickup truck to store our belongings and opened up the tv room for us to shelter in until our relatives arrived to help us. They made us cups of tea, offered for us to use the showers and ensured our young children were ok. Absolutely fantastic customer service despite the awful weather conditions they went above and beyond to help us. This was our 3rd stay at this site and we will definitely be back although I think it's safe to say we'll avoid camping during stormy weather in future!
Facilities were clean and well maintained as always!

Guys that pulled us out were great and got us on a different pitch but when asking if we could get a different pitch the office staff claimed they were all booked up. We stayed 3 nights over the Easter period and found there were a number of dryer pitches unused.

Thank you for your review. We agreen the toilets are very clean.
With regards to your review we would like to take this time to answer your dislikes. Firstly the wardens assisted when you got stuck and the office allocated another pitch. As it was Easter the park and it's pitches were booked up. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please, so although the Park appears empty the pitches are not always available. Some of the fields were also closed as they do not open until later in the year.
We would hope that you would visit again, possibly when the weather is warmer and hopefully drier.
