Pitches are generous sizes we had a gravel and grass fully serviced pitch, the way they were situated you didn't feel like you were on top of the next caravan/motorhome. We didn't use any of the facilities on site as we chose this site as we wanted to walk up Snowdon and it was quite close to The Ranger Path and had a bus stop right outside the site. We walked back down Llanberis path and got a taxi back to the site (£25) at a reasonable price for four adults and a dog. We noticed a coffee van that was selling fresh coffee and breakfast rolls as we were leaving for our climb on site and think they also served other food. The showers and toilets were clean and shower blocks on each section.

We travelled in a motorhome with four adults and a dog for two nights and thought it was quite pricey in comparison to what we usually pay going south. We paid £170 as they charge per person I believe plus add on for awnings and dogs.

Excellent location, easy to get into Snowdonia or onto Anglesey
Large site, but its split into 5 or 6 fields so doesn't feel big
Washroom facilities are clean, everything works well. The field I camped on had small washrooms, I preferred to walk to a neighbouring field to do the washing up or shower, as there was more room for my stuff
Nice flat pitches, well equipped with taps, electricity points, chemical toilet disposal places
Reception and grounds staff were all friendly and helpful

Lovely area .. just a few miles from the snowden ranger path .. stunning river running right next to the camp amazing walks .. very good food truck on site and a small shop clean toilets and showers

Lovely level pitch with plenty of room and not far from bathrooms with nice hot showers and dishwashing facilities. Bryn Gloch accommodated our little family group so that we could camp together. The campsite is in beautiful surroundings. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing but helpful and the takeaway food from the little mobile food unit was ideal the evening before we had to pack up to go home. Staff recommended the C3 bus to Caernarfon so we could have a lovely lunch at The Black Boy with a couple of drinks after a walk round the magnificent castle. The bus stops at the site entrance (needs flagging down) at 20 min past the hour. Get off/back on (also 20 past the hour)outside Iceland supermarket (handy for a few provisions on the way back) for the castle/town centre. Super spot for walking up Snowden. Highly recommended.

Just remember - no one can filter inconsiderate people from booking any holiday. It’s just bad luck if they turn up during your stay.

We had a lovely stay in our campervan. The toilets and showers were clean and
plenty of hot water. There's a bus stop outside the site . There's also a steam train that runs through the campsite brilliant. Thanks we will stay here again.
There is free WIFI. The staff are very friendly and helpful..

Beautiful setting in Snowdonia with a fresh water stream running through the campsite. Many amenities provided such as a BBQ area beside the stream and a walking circular route great for on site exercise. Whole campus managed to a very high standard with toilet and waste facilities cleaned daily and well stocked. Staff were very friendly and enquired if my stay went well. WIFI provided.

Friendly staff, was a bit confused following where the pitch was but it all made sense eventually, put it down to tiredness, the site was much larger than expected! Very well kept site, clean and very large showers lots of hot water, toilets were very clean. Plenty of water points and disposal areas. A brilliant dog 🐕 walking area one of the best l’ve seen, our b/collie loved his stay here plenty of walks straight from site. Not too far from Porthmadog 30 min drive, where there’s everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay 👍

Ice cream van that came right outside your tent also!
And then the views were stunning
We had such a good time and will definitely be on the list to return

We were camping on field 6 and behind the hedges, near the path to go to the stream (on a different field) there was a family who I believe stayed there quite often in their caravan and they was so so loud at night and quite late on into the night too. We didn’t hear anyone tell them to quieten down even though the rules say quiet time should be from 9pm I believe? Tbf we didn’t complain either so can’t blame the staff but just an FYI if you are on field 6 near the hedges you may be up all night listening to them
