Remoteness and ability to select own pitch.

Road in is a bit on the rough side - but we knew this before we booked so no issue really.

The remote location and lakes, very relaxing with beautiful scenery. Paddle boarding on the lake (not the fishing lake) was great.

It was a fantastic place for a relaxed bank holiday away, able to relax next to a lake and just enjoy nature. We will likely be back at some point if we need a forest getaway.

Great wild camping experience which is often hard to find in the UK. Amazing wildlife. Loved it.

Its the most briliant place we have ever been. Camp fire on the ground fishing on the lake …..its briliant. Dont expect to catch big fish on the lake near the forest but use maggies on float for small fishes. It will keep the jids bussy for hours. We will go back there over and over again.

Scenery, helpful people, get left to it, can wild camp, fish, go on a nice walk, lots of wildlife will definitely be going back for a 3rd time

Had to haul all the rubbish home in the car as there were no near by bins

Great site and very peaceful. My 5 year old loved it.

Small amount of mess left by previous campers which included broken glass. Shame people cannot take their rubbish home

The place is amazing ! Grat lake and forest, very beautifully place. We will definitely be back!

Toilets were quite far but it wasn't really a big problem
