Very friendly site, toilet blocks nice and clean. Bar good prices, entertainment good for the kids.

Unfortunately, it was very muddy round the caravan, but only because of the rainfall weve had. It dried once the sun came out.

Loved it, really nice area nice little holiday park not fair from the beach was about 5 min walk. Loved the shower block to have a nice shower

we couldn't book onto swimming as it booked up really fast..

Shower blocks could do with a shlef or more hooks to put ur clean clothes on so they don't get wet

Absolutely fantastic site. Friendly staff all round. Easy access to a local beach, affordable compared to others.

Only dislike was the hill side pitch but we managed

Most pitches are located on hills, making it difficult to level out the caravan

We liked the swimming pool and my son loves the on site entertainment, both were a huge plus as the weather was a little unpredictable.

Although it's great they have an arcade most of the games kept breaking everyday and the pool table was put of action all week. Its a little tierd and needs an overhaul.

Our field was very very boggy after the rain. I feel people should have been given alternative pitches knowing how bad the ground could be.

Dirty showers lack of water in the shower drizzling down the pipe struggled to shower properly.

The site its is in a prefect location. Close to the beach and a short drive into Bude.
The main entertainment complex is clean and tidy with plenty to do for the kids. The staff on site for the kids entertainment are amazing, our youngest son really enjoyed the entertainment. There is food available on site, menu is limited and a little on the expensive side, however not any more than you would expect to pay in any other similar setting. Drinks are reasonably priced. We didn't use the pool, its a small basic pool. its a nice addition to the site and an extra activity if you have a day where you want to spend a little more time on site. Crazy golf is free and the kids loved it. The play park is small but nice and well kept with a nice football area beside the complex. The site shop is well stocked, a bit expensive but handy if you desperately need something.

BE PREPARED AND YOU WILL BE OK!

The camping pitches aren't well maintained. Even though we were given a pitch number the section we were directed to had no pitches, we were told to pitch anywhere in that general area. The site is descried as a “slight slope”. Its not a slope its a hill, be prepared to pitch on a hill, once you over come that obstacle you will be OK. Aside from the hill we unfortunately turned up after some heavy rainfall. The grass area is clearly over used with little to no maintenance. The area has little drainage and even after 4 straight dry days the ground was still a soggy mess of mud. Cars were often getting stuck on the grass, including the security van that patrols in the evening. I would defiantly recommended taking an extra groundsheet with you – ours literally saved hours of cleaning the bottom of our tent on pack up. Defiantly pack wellies and plenty of spare socks and towels.

Its a noisy site and for some that's not a negative. For us we prefer a site with quiet hours and not other groups still playing music at 12pm or waking at 5am. The sites doesn't operate quiet hours. The wording of the noise policy can be open to interpretation – along the lines of “keep noise to a reasonable level”. It would be safe to say everyone has a different opinion of what is reasonable.

Cleanliness – washing up areas and laundry rooms were nice and clean. Toilets and showers not as good. They weren't in a disgusting state however any cleaning of the toilets that we did see, seemed to be more of a quick wipe over. The toilet and shower blocks are too small for the amount of campers. They could do with cleaning more often. It did look at times as though the site was extremely understaffed the wardens were nice and helpful but we did only see 2 the whole time we were there.It seemed to be their job also to maintain the toilet and shower block.

On the whole its a good site. Pack prepared for mud and expect to pitch on a hill and not a slope. The toilet and shower facilities could be cleaner.
