Excellent site with great views and clean toilet facilities and showers.

Even as inexperienced campers we had a great time. Relatively small site so not too busy - Well maintained and secure with lovely countryside views.
The couple running the site were very friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean and modern, didn’t use showers but looked the same. Cleaners arrived in the morning and fire pits/ wood were available to buy in the late afternoon/early evening. Quiet time in the evening was also adhered to. Lots of good places close by to visit in the day time and had pizza and breakfast from “The Cupola” which was a nice restaurant nearby and they do deliver pizza some days - thanks!

Nice large field, there was loads of space for the kids to play.
The views are amazing, surrounded by fields.
Showers and toilets are clean and close by.
Dog friendly so we were able to bring our puppy with us too.
It's about 10 to 15 mins away from Bakewell so grabbing some extra bits was easy.

Nothing we have camped here twice now and both times have been delightful.

The campsite was lovely and clean. We did a 2 night stay with children aged 18 months and 3 years along with some friends. It was safe and child friendly. The pitches were nice and level with freshly cut grass. There was animals by the site which kept them entertained. The camp was a short drive from Bakewell so we had a venture out which was lovely too.

unfortunately we were next to a tent with 2 very very drunk middle aged men whose language turned the air blue and who discussed personal exploits in graphic detail, not the education i would want for my 6 & 9 year old. Also a big group multiple families partied into the wee hours - I guess to be expected with summer camping. I am sure the owners would have done something if we said, but when we asked the ‘gentlemen’ politely to modify there language because of the little ones we got abuse. so to be honest too intimidated to take further.

Well laid out and great priced site with nice flat tent pitches, nice hot showers.

Toilets we're clean but pretty smelly, only cold water to wash pots.
